If I could sum up my dog in one word, it would be a word far beyond the comprehension of my likings. Just so your aware I have a very exquiset vocabulary, I'm writing a full length novella at the age of 13. Jazz is one of those dogs who I can talk to about anything. She is forgiving and nonjudgemental. When I have a sugar high she is always there to keep me from breaking anything, when I finish a chapter I read it aloud to her, and when I feel lost in this often deep abyss that is a life of a teengae girl I come home and give her a big hug. Jazz is my best friend and always will be, forver and ever sugar puff.
This a peom I wrote for Jazz in L.A. class one day while we were learing about boring things.
She crawls through the opening of a black trench
Opens the door of light
Spooling in like a rush of dawn
What would I do if you were gone
Golden lies, covered by your tries
I love the smile that crosses your face
The way you fill my heart with grace
Golden lies covered by your tries
Black and white jump into the river
Ugly like that of a snake who slivers
You bury the pain
Vengance of those I trust most, so plain
A pacifist of your own great world
Trying, so hard
I need you so-
Don't give up on me yet
- Jazz, I love you

For three years my family never talked about getting another dog, we thought that we'd never fing a dog as good as the dog we already had ( Jazz ).
My mother is a vet tech ( a vet nurse ) at North Maine St and occasionally helps out at the Brockton Blue Dog Shelter every wednesday. My mom does mostly the business part of it. One night after a meeting one of the employe's told my mom she had to look at this really cute puppy that had just recieved there. My mom spends 1/3 of her life around dogs, so a puppy that may be cute to you doesn't seem as cute to her, so she hesitated. Finally she was convinced to look at the puppy. The second she saw the dog she fell in love. The dogs name was disco wich was such a coincidence because we already had a dog named jazz. My mom decided to let disco spend the night at our house.
After a very long day at school I was really tired, (coming of off a major chocolate sugar high) and not so pleased about the fact that my mom was at a meeting and left me alone to watch my brother, but boy was I happy when I saw my mom walk into the house carrying a dog crate.
Sometimes my mom fosters dogs at our house ,but I was really excited this time becuase my mom said that she wasn't going to foster anymore. Also, my sugar high was back after my brother gave up his parental rights as caretaker for the candy bowl.
My mom opened the crate and out came this tiny, goofy, little mutt who comes over to me and licks my face. I look up at my mother and say,
"Can we keep her?"
My mother said yes but, disco had to past the test. The test was to see if my stepdad liked her. The first thing she did when she saw him was pee on our brand knew couch. Good thing she was cute because my stepdad liked her and we got to keep her.
Here is Disco's poem, which has a totally diffrent vibe because this was during math class. SHHH, don't tell the parentel unit's.He, He, oops... another sugar high. Bare with me!!!!
Disco dog, you have a disporprotioned head
We should call you Fred
But we call you Disco instead.
Yes, well... i wasn't lieing about the sugar high. Ohhhh, Chocoalte chip cookies!!!!

You have really pretty dogs and I love their stories! They seem to make you really happy. I had a similar thing happen when I got my cocker spaniel puppy a looooong time ago. I brought him home, bascially without telling my parents, and the first time they met him he peed on the kitchen floor right in front of them! They were none too happy, but fell in love with him shortly after that.
