Well, Grandpa is home. Momma, Daddy and I are spending a quiet day at home just enjoying each other's company. It is the first time in a long time that we have got to do that with just us. I have taken off my babysitter hat and am just Benji right now. it feels good after being just so busy for so long. Thank you for not forgetting me during our incredibly busy time. All your barks of encouragement and friendship made Momma and I know that we could keep going. We hope that when it is your time to need support, we can be at least half as good as you were.>

Hello Fabulous Furend! Long time no bark! Mom’s been really busy. Easter is over but now she’s working on Mother’s Day. She’s putting a cookbook together for the moms. We told her we know it’s important but we told her it was time to catch up with our furends. Whatcha been up to? We’ve not been doing a whole lot..you know the usual. Eating, Sleeping, Playing, Eating, Sleeping, Playing. Mom took a picture of Mali tasting a lollipop. She’s also been able to upload a video of us playing. You’ll have to go check it out. We know we shouldn’t give away the ending but it’s funny when I (Sable) finally notice the camera. I was outta there!

Oh and here are some of mom's tulips.  They are her favorite.  Especially the "black" ones.  (They're really purple).  They haven't all bloomed yet but aren't they pretty?

Hi , we told mom we had to be sure and get our Easter barks out so she said that we would have to do them today because she‘s got a busy weekend. We hope you and your families have a wonderful and blessed Easter. Please take time to thank God for all the blessings you have..there is so much sadness, confusion and hate in the world right now we forget the things that are really important. We want you to know that we are glad that you are our friends. We are very blessed to have found MDS…we have made so many special friends and have bonds with so many of you that at times it still amazes Mom. Thank you for being our friends and for being there for us.

Hi parker, I am so sorry I haven't been on much this week. My momma has been sick AGAIN, but she is all better. Today was a great day. Momma finished cleaning the kitchen Freakins and then she and my human cousin Sunshine (she really has another name, I can't ever remember it so I just call her Sunshine, and Momma went to the park. Oh it was so great to get to get out in the fresh air and sunsh... well the sun wasn't shining, but it was great to get out in the fresh air. While Momma was sick, Daddy would just take me out into the yard without my cart, which was okay because he always puts it on me backwards anyway, but it is not as much fun because I don't get to 'splore very much. 'Splorin's fun. That is what it is called when you go to see things you haven't seen before or get to check out things up close that you have only seen from a distance. Me and Momma 'splore a lot when we are on our walks. So anyway we went to the park and Momma let Sunshine hold my leash. I didn't care for that much, no special reason. I am just used to Momma and not Sunshine. We stayed at the park for a long time. Then we went and got ice cream before we had to take Sunshine home. Momma shared her ice cream with me. Tonight, I am plum worn out, but it was great anyway. I promise I will try to be a little more attentive to all my friends in the coming weeks. You know how mommas are sometimes. And mine is the craziest one of all.

Hey pals it’s love your pet day…so we’re gonna let mom talk today.

Hi all,I'm sorry I didn't get to finish sending out our bark earlier..but we're gonna try and finish now.  I just want to say that we consider it a privilege to have our precious girls. Sometimes, as we all can attest to, they can be pains in the anal glands. But we wouldn’t trade one second of the time we’ve been allowed to have with them. They are our kids…sure I go overboard sometimes with the clothes and the toys and the treats…but think about it …they are happy with a full belly, a warm bed and a scratch on the head. There love is so unconditional. Think about how you are greeted when you walk in the door, whether you’ve been gone 5 minutes or 5 hours. They are ecstatic to see you. We can all learn something about how to treat others and basically live our lives from our pets. I can’t remember a heartbreak so great as when I lost my Chi-baby last month. I think of and miss her every single day. They bring so much to our lives that when we lose one -- we have (at least for me and my husband) have lost a piece of our family. We may not have the cutest or the smartest dogs … but we love them. Our gurlz--Sable and Mali--give us joy and love that is unmatched and once again I want to say it’s a privilege to have them.

Hi furend! Mom just wanted to tell everyone to Smile Today . She’s been running around crazy…she said a puppy is like having 10 two year olds. She picks up toys and turns around and there they are all in the floor again. Mali is doing so well. She hasn’t had an accident since last Monday and she gets to sleep in the big room now. She’s allowed anywhere in the house in the daytime just not at night. She is also learning commands…she sits, (she doesn’t get “Stay”), she “leaves it” … even when you tell her it’s ok she still won’t get it. She does “Down” like laydown. And she’s learning to do them with hand signals and not voice command. So we know she can be pretty smart--but boy she sure doesn’t act it sometimes. Mom wanted to try and get barks out tonight because we have company this weekend and she says she has to clean and buy groceries and do laundry…so she’s gonna be pretty busy. Plus she has another sinus fection and she had to go to her Roomy Toad Arfritis Dogter yesterday cuz she says her bones hurt but she’s tough! We lubbies you all --- Now let’s see those pearly whites

Hi, Momma and I decided that running in this contest might be a good way for me to help other dogs that are not as lucky as I am to have a good home. It would be kind of like my legacy, because I think it is important to touch as many lives as posible. This way we could all touch the lives of thousands of dogs that are not so lucky as most of us. I know that times are tough. So if you can not afford to make the donation for a vote, we totally understand, but if you can at all afford it, we would be so pleased. Momma's paw feels like typing again. I missed you guys! Tonight, I had the bestest supper. It was good! Now I don't really know what it was, but after Momma and Daddy had a supper of chicken, Daddy poured some liquidy stuff from the chicken bowl over my dog food, and it was I always let Momma and Daddy know how much I enjoy my treats by rubbing my mouth up and down the side of the couch. The more I rub, the more I enjoy my treats! (Momma thinks I sometimes enjoy my food too much so she put a sheet over the couch. I like that better anyway. It is softer on my face.) Well, tonight, I rubbed and rubbed and rubbed and rubbed because it was sooooooooo good.

     Well, let me tell you, while Momma's paw was decapitated (turns to side, "What Momma? Oh.) Sorry, I mean while Momma's paw was incapacitated, I learned a lot. I learned for one that a two pawed Momma is better than a one pawed Momma. I also learned that Daddy doesn't spoil me like Momma does. Get this. Daddy would only take me for short walks because he was having to cut out part of his t.v. watching time. He likes to watch that show where the humans get on there and beat each other up then yell at each other for beating them up. I also learned that Daddy forgets a lot of things. LIKE FOOD! Hello, I need to eat too! I also learned that Daddy doesn't treat me as good as Momma. If I get up after Momma puts me to bed, she will get up and put me to bed again. Daddy doesn't he just He also still tried to put in the cart backwards. Ahh well, he does try, and since Momma's paw is not all the way better yet, I guess I am going to have to get used to it. Well, I guess I am going to go now. I love
