Trouble again...Almost!!

Would you believe that I was almost in trouble again?  My silly mom took me across the street to play with the “nice” big dogs, Amber and Stella with the hopes of getting rid of some of my MASSIVE ENERGY.  What mom didn’t know is that their mom was watering the lawn.  Well, we ran and ran and played and I was so muddy that you probably wouldn’t even know it was little ole me.  Surprised   It was  mom’s idea to go visit!   Mom brought me home after I was pretty worn out, stuck me in the bathtub and I got another bath!  I just had one last week at the groomers!  Don’t you think she’s over doing it?  Yeah, I was a muddy mess but it would have dried and she could have just brushed me good.  Oh well, at least now I’m clean again and smell fabulous (for my Buddy) and my fur is soooo so soft.  Guess it was worth it.  And, it’s suppose to rain and be stormy here on Sunday so guess who will probably be muddy again before you know it?  Yup…ME.  At least mom’s not too angry with me for now anyway.  I’ll try to stay out of trouble for a day or so.  Not like Bandit and Sophie.  Those two just look for trouble!  Thanks for your advice on my energy, toddler moments.

Luv you all, Holly in Texas

You too Sami? After I do 'my business' I know to head right for the downstair bathroom, turn around and wait to get my bottom clean too. Since I am so tall, mama says she doesn't want anyone looking at a dirty bum. Boy it sure foils those who sniff me U-NO-WHERE...I smell 'lotioney Charmin' sweet.

Holly, don't fret about the bath. I hasta have one every single week...I hate Mondays...cause I know I am going to loose the battle of the 'walk in shower"...with the those sprayers, it's like my own private car wash...yuck! And the worse part is once I am nice and clean I can't even get on the bed, cause it's sheet changing day, and out comes the steamer for the mattress...yep, I hate Mondays. I just don't think it's natural for all this bathing stuff...but Delta has this rule that therapy dogs have to be shampooed within 72 hours of every visit.

Olie, I gots pics of my BUBBER CHEEEKIN, and guess what, she is a drinker, yep, caught her in the liquor cabinet.

Gee Holly, you're just having a good time!! Ain't nothin' wrong with that! One time I did something similar and oh goodness, my Dad was SOOO mad!! Now you gotta understand, I'm normally one of the BEST dogs a human could ever hope for, but even I do crazy things now and then! We were playin' up at a friends house that lives about 10 miles up a hill from our house. It's a real quiet road out in the woods. Dad said it was time to go, but I just wasn't havin it! There was no way I was gettin in that truck, even though it was pouring down rain and starting to get dark! So Dad said fine, I'm leavin without you! And he got in the truck and started driving real slow, so I followed, and I kept following, and he kept stopping to get me in the truck but I just wouldn't do it! I ended up having to RUN ALL THE WAY HOME!!! Oh yeah, it was blast while it lasted, but once I was inside the gate of our own property, boy he had my hind in a sling! Even now, I'm three, I supposedly outgrew those terrible 2s, but regardless, I got off my leash one time when Mom was walking me and I took off like a dog outta heck! I ran back towards home and saw Dad driving towards me, he stopped the truck and blocked all the traffic and started chasing me, Mom pulling tow back behind us somewheres. Boy I sure got in big trouble for that one too. Anyhow, long story short, we're dogs, and even the best behaved ones act out sometimes! Don't sweat it, young un! You'll eventually figure out that a well trained human generally knows best!

Gee Holly,  you sure get into some  funny messes.  I don't think  this was your fault though, your mom  took you there to play.   I know what you mean  about being  bathed though.  Everytime I come in  mom wipes my bottom and my paws.  Geesh,  a little dirt never hurt anyone.  Glad she didn't get mad at you.  -Sami
