HOLLY IN TROUBLE
Hi Pals, Holly in Trouble (formerly Holly in Texas) here. I’m in big trouble with my mom tonight. I went outside to play and when she called me to come inside, I just would not listen. I was having so much fun!! 
There was no way I was coming in the house. There is so much to do in the yard, poop to eat,leaves to play in, cat to terrorize, squirrels to chase, dogs to bark at (you’ve heard about them before), branches to chew…just so much that I can’t do inside. It was getting darker and darker and mom wanted me to come in. Mom tried the old treat jar trick….Come on Holly, get a cookie…I didn’t want no stinkin’ cookie. I wanted to play. It was funny when mom chased after me but she should know that I am the fastest pup around. Well, I finally got tricked into the house and now mom is really angry at me. She won’t even look at me. 
I know she loves me but I just really didn’t want to come in. What’s a pup to do? I just love having fun. Do you think I’ll ever grow up? Mom and I really need a training session, when there is some time. Geesh, wait till I tell Buddy. He’ll probably be mad at me too. He wanted to do something special for my birthday next month and now with mom being mad at me, I might not be able to go. 
I really love my mom and I know she loves me and wants what’s best for me, I just need to learn to listen to her and do what she says. Any suggestions on how to tame a wild toddler would be greatly appreciated….Sorry Mom…Love you!

Wow, Holly....you WILD thing, you! ***giggles*** I hope your mom has started looking at you again. The only advice I have for being a good girl is practice, practice, practice!

Holly, sometimes us pups just want to have fun. Mom says the snow turns me into a lunatic. I'm not sure what that means, but something about running around in the white fluffy stuff feels so good that I just want to run all around.

Yikes, Holly, I know what you mean about having fun and all..but you do have to listen to your mom...they do somethings for real good reasons...we remember when that BIG DOG bit you...so those things will still be outside..but what's important is that you listen to your mom. Ah we all went thru that...we laughed at Parker's bark..so true..all the things our MOM's try to trick us with! I am sure your mom won't be mad for long..prove it to her by going outside and coming right in when she calls you!!

Oh Holly, i know where your coming from mom use to try all the tricks wanna go bye bye in the car, look who is here, wanna cookie, but i would not budge i did finally grow out of that it took awhile but i did and im sure you will too.

I'm not mad at you Holly. I'm pretty fast myself. I'm a pest too sometimes. Poor Riley has to put up with me. Mom says a month is a long time, so don't count on me canceling your birthday.
By the way, Riley knows how you feel too. He used to give mom a run for her money every night. He grew out of it though. He loves being outside!

Hey Holly, boy can I relate. I am have been in the 'terrible two's for the past year...mom thinks it's only about humans, but she didn't know it was a doggie thing too. Wow! can you run fast...Mama used to get mad at me too, but I would let her catch me and then plant my feet and not move, good luck to her, trying to move 140# dog in the house, talk about Macho. Don't worry, you will grow out of it. Don't tell your mom tho, my mom got one of those real long 40' leashes, and when I went outside I thought I was free at last, and she would call once, and then reel me in, not fair! Then when she took the lead off after awhile, I didn't realize it was gone, so I came in anyway. Now I come in, cause I know sooner or later I will loose. But every now and then, just to make sure she is paying attention I WONT LISTEN AT ALL...hey, I'm still in the terrible two's, and have a reputation to live up to.
