DOG BITE UPDATE!
Hi to Everybody, I just want to tell all my pals thank you so much for all the get well wishes you sent to me today. It really made me feel better. I also want to let you know how I’m doing. We have the nicest pals!! 
Today was much better than yesterday. No Drs. and no shots!! Woof, woof, woof. Mom snuck some pills in a little dog food (she didn’t think I knew), but I know they are to make me better. I’ve been outside a coupla times (mom went too) and I just kinda slept all day. Mom bothered me a few times to clean my wound and stitches. That was OK.
We realize how blessed we are that I wasn’t hurt much, much worse just because I was so "big and brave". I really do think I can take care of those dogs!! The man who lives there is always fixing that ole fence. Gee, I just want to play! Hogan won’t play too much and Dixie won’t play at all. Mom plays sometimes but she is usually busy selling stuff on eBay (whatever that is.) I get to sleep or play under her desk while she works. I like that.
So, the moral of my story is…if you listen to your mom and not think you’re the biggest dog on the block, you just might stay out of trouble, save your mom some money (for Vet bills) and not get hurt. Mom really does know best!! I’m happy to tell you that I think I’ll be OK. My pals from across the street, two BIG dogs, Amber and Stella, came by with their mom to see how I was doin’. I was scared for a minute (cause they are big) but they are nice dogs and just sniffed me. They are pals!
Time for bed. Thanks again for all the good wishes. I think they are working. I’ll keep you posted. BTYL….

Hi Holly - I am soooo glad you are doing much better. I agree -- I always think I'm a big ferocious dog too but I am a bit skittish with the big dogs. My mom usually pulls me back anyhow and she always has this leash on me. I'm sorry I haven't visited for a long while.

I am so very happy to hear that you are on the mend. What a terrible experience that had to be for both you and your Mom.
This past weekend my cousin and her Mom who live in NJ were also attached by a big dog. My cousin, Clancey, was in critical condition and because his Mom picked him up in her arms the attach dog also bit her arms and face.
Luckily after a few days in the hospital he was allowed to go home. Now he will not let ANYONE near him.

we are soo sad to hear you had a bad experience! glad to hear you are on the mend..we would like to send you, Casha our cat.. she would protect you! Even the big big dogs in our hood give her a wide swath.. she is a real boss cat. but she is ok with us.

Great News! and so glad that you got to see your big friends , Amber and Stella, and they helped remind you that not all big dogs are mean....
Maybe the doggies that bit you were really just scared of you because you are so tuff????? Best to stay clear of them until they learn their manners.......
