my trip to the e vet (reese)
i had to go to the emergency vet the other day. mom thought i was choking on my treat (i eat so fast) and i was. she got scared and called my regular vet and it was past closing so they gave her the number to the emergency vet. she called, got directions and took me right away. well they gave me meds and i was fine, but come to find out to mommy's surprise....i ate a coin....
. mommy was not happy with me but glad that i was ok. she and her friends decided not to pay $1000 for the removal surgury since i was acting normal. she feeds me and i still poop fine. she is watching me all the time to see if i struggle at all with my breathing. (she is like a helicopter, she hovers)
i have not let mommy know if i passed it or not yet. as far as she knows i haven't.

i'm going to puppy kindergarden!!!!
i (reese) will be going to puppy kindergarden starting october 21st!!! mommy is just as excited!!! i feel bad for rocky who will be by hisself while mommy and daddy takes me to the petsmart place but mommy says once he gets neutered then she will take him to beginners class (wich will leave me by myself, but mommy has done that to me before)

mommy is wanting to make us an easy cheap costume. she is going as a beer girl and daddy may be a viking.....but we don't have one yet. any ideas??? mommy is going barkers to get us to match her and daddy. any help is appreciated!!!

mommy is proud of me (rocky)
i am very pleased to say that mommy is proud of me for being such a good boy at the park!
we went at about 11:30 at the plano dog park. its fenced in so NO LEASH!! i was happy about that. reese was his normal playful self and i surprised mommy by my behavior. she expected me to bark at everyone and everything, but as soon as i got let down from daddy's arms i was playing with all the other boys and girls. i barked a couple of times but the other doggies were getting too close to MY mommy.
just thought i would share with ya'll, cuz i was so excited!!!

i am legal now!!!
mommy took me to the vet today and they gave me my rabies!! i can now go to a lot more events! rocky already had his but now i have mine too!
mommy got up when daddy did. she was fussin at me to hurry up and eat, get my collar on, and get me in my crate. rocky was crying and barking at mommy but i said na na na boo boo, i get to go with mommy and you have to stay here. rocky looked like mommy was killing him. oh well, he will get over it. mommy has left me plenty of times. (i hope he doesn't chew on MY toys)
ok and update for those of you who were wondering....
we arrived and picked Rocky up. he was excited and scared at the same time. my hubby played with him while i cleaned out the crate (it was messy) and i put his toys and blanket in there. he went in without me having to say anything. we drove home and when we got in the house the cat was waiting at the door. he went nuts! he was barking like "mommy there is a cat in the house....lemme go catch it"
then reese started barking, cuz heaven forbid we should take a minute to get our shoes off and drop off what was in our hands......
we let the two of them pups get to know each other. well rocky decided to mark his territory. well i was shocked. i put him in his crate right away. (luckily it was laundry that needed to be washed anyways). reese didn't like that too much so when i put them in their pen, reese showed rocky who was "boss". it was funny to see but they need to figure out their order. i know i am the boss but other than that its up to them. i am going to try and schedule an appointment for rocky's neutering but between now and then will seem like an eternity if i have to keep cleaning up the "markings". will it stop when he gets neutered?? reese doesn't mark like that he just bosses other pets around. does neutering really affect their need to mark? just wondering.

How To Make Puppy PieTake one puppy, roll and play until lightly pampered,
then add the following ingredients.....
1 cup patience....
1 cup understanding....
1 pinch correction....
1 cup hard work....
2 cups praise and 1 1/2 cups fun...
Blend well.
Heat with warmth of your heart until raised or until
puppy has doubled in size.
Mix with owner until consistency is such that owner
and puppy are one.
