new dog park

well the city counsel finally approved the site and by next spring the city of ottumwa should have a dog park i am so happy i can't keep my tail from wagging. we will have 3 acres of running area, split in 3 sections. one for large dogs one for medium sized dogs and one for tiny dogs. i will be in the large breed zone since i now weigh 120 pounds a far cry from the 28 pounds i weighed when my pack leader found me. i can't wait to make all new friends and have play dates.

Do you know where this dog park is going to go? I am from Ottumwa and I love to go to the bike walk but I can't run around with other playmates outside without a leash. Please let me know.

Not sure where ottumwa is, but we are in dubuque. we have a dog park but it is NOT three acres. You are very lucky. Keep us posted and if it isn't too far, maybe we can come play sometime. 7dogs
