I live with my family a doggie brother and sister, a kitty brother and two human brothers, mom, dad and grandma. Don't try to get my side of the bed unless you have cheese to make me move. I am always with my mom. I am a good guard dog especially my food. I think I am being punished when I have to eat dog food. I love to play with Daisy and my toys when she doesn't take them all. I am loveable and spoiled. I also have a temper at times. I get mad when mom goes to work and is gone for so long I go and wait for her under the bush in the corner of the yard so I can see when her truck turns on our street . I like to be the first one to greet her and hope that she has a treat for me. I love it when we go places together get a treat at every stop we make.I sit in the drivers seat until I get to see what she got me. She says that I am more spoiled than the kids are. I am very loyal to mom. I don't like it when the kids are in our bedroom and start wrestling around. Then I have to start barking at them to make them stop. I don't like when the kids play with their toy guns either. That makes me very upset. I love my family very much. Since I came here I have been very happy. I look like a different dog all together. The other family that had me was VERY mean and didn't like to feed me. ...........................................................

Kenzie, Toby, and Daisy, Hello friends!! Today is a mixture of emotions for us today. We will start with the good news, the lab in our blog found a forever home. We are leaving the blog up to remind people what happens when a dog is used for breeding purposes only. Also, it helps stress the importance of adopting for life and spaying and neutering your animals.
The news that absolutely broke our hearts today is the passing of Butch. Butch always made us feel welcome. He was the first one to dance with Anastasia at our first MDS pawty, the 50’s pawty. And his dedication to GODIG was remarkable. Butch we will see you someday over the rainbow bridge. Save a dance for Anastasia.

Dear GODIG friends,
We are so sad to tell you that our beloved co-alpha Butch has left us.
Because GODIG is a group that celebrates life, we want to share some of the joy Butch brought to his humans Ray and Anne and remember how special Butch was.
Nothing intimidated this 14-year old Rat Terrier, including Snip the horse, a stray cat, and the sudden appearance of adoptive brother Buster. Butch always let Ray and Anne know exactly what he was thinking, and GODIG-ers remember his hunger strike last fall when he decided human food was "on his plate". Feisty with visiting chihuahuas, he let them know who was boss, but was never agressive or obnoxious.
Butch was also vital in getting GODIG off the ground. His enthusiasm, friendliness, and natural assumption that he was the same size as any dog around sparked our growth, and his spirit--that life for senior dogs should be full of zest and techniques for helping our humans adapt as we age--will always be with our group.
The posey (the flower that's not the rose) is how we have remembered other GODIG-ers who've left us, and we know that a zillion will be placed in Butch's memory on his profile (Dawg1943).

Hi Pals! Mom is FINALLY sending barks for us again. Well trying to anyway! We'll see how many she can send out without deleting anybody! She's been cleaning and she decided to take a break. She's been sick with a sinusfection and she went to the Dogter to get a shot...she WANTED one but she didn't get in the arm where she wanted it...so you know what that means! Guess that'll teach her..BOL

We've just added our newest GODIGer, J. Jason Amadeus, also known as Blackdogrockstar, to the GODIG member list (which also has links to each member's profile for easier barking).
Blackdogrockstar is a German shepherd who'll turn 13 in March. He's battled a variety of health problems, and is now going through intensive physical therapy. But his wheelchair hasn't stopped him from hicking and chasing sticks. Blackdogrockstar lives with his humans and three younger adoptive German shepherd sisters, Dezray, Ama, and Jazmin Ophelia. Let's all send welcome barks and pal requests to Blackdogrockstar at Blackdogrock... .

Sorry that we haven't been commenting or doing anything lately besides GODIG. We are very thankful for the dogs who send msgs out everyday and still include us 
Well, we had a very awesome Christmas! Sophie came over and she this cute christmas tree sweater and the star lit up with LED lights. We think we have a video and we might be able to put it up! Mikey got a yard long peanutbutter bone that he finnished a week later (with the help of Fresca licking it
) and Fresca got a pack of mini rawhides! Oh! And we get forget Sophiedoo! She got a GA Bulldawg cheerleader outfit! To match Fresca's t-shirt and jersey :)! On New Years Mikey got a little bit too scared of the confetti poppers and moved to his quiet blanket coated kennel in the bedroom. Fresca although, was taking all of her toys out of the toys bin and trying to get some drops of sparkling apple cider. So, one of our resolutions was to post more msg so we will try our hardest! Happy Holidays to all!
