My family has just gotten sarge as of today,february 9 2008 and let me tell u he is a BIG couch potato.he has setteled in pretty well so far but doesnt like to move around much lol which isnt such a bad thing compared to our other dog,cody,a black lab,who always wants to move around which gets him into trouble.Sarge is a very needy for attention dog.he will be sleeping and we can yell right in front of him he wont wake up but as soon as we leave the room he starts whining cuz he cant see us.well i guess thats a basset hound for ya

what can i say? cody is a big oaf! he has GIGANTIC paws that always seem to get in his way.he sometimes forgets how big he is so you better watch out when youre playing with him cuz hell knock you right over! Cody is a big sweetheart though and knows that he has to be gentle around small kids.he has never been aggressive towards people but he will growl a little if a stranger comes to our house.cody is a runner but we hope we can fix that problem soon.my dad is talking about using him as a search and rescue dog for USAR(urban search and rescue)
