My first home had to give me up due to the military. My second home got tired of me & on Christmas Eve they put me in a kennell outside of Lowes with a note that said " if you want me you can have me" A nice lady found me in the shelter & pulled me. She got in contact with a rescue group called Great Creatures Rescue. They put me in a very nice foster home. I was in my new foster home for 3 days when my foster Mommy & Daddy decided that they wanted to adopt me.

I got hit by a car when I was 10 months old. Instead of taking me to a vet, my owners tied me back to a tree. I needed alot of medical care & they could not afford it so they took me to a vet to have me put to sleep. The vet asked if she could keep me. The people agreed. As soon as they left she called Great Creatures Rescue & they took me in. I went to a very nice foster family that adpoted me as soon as they got me. Now I have a Mommy & a Daddy that love me more than I have ever been loved before. I also have a "furry" brother named Dozer that I am still getting used to. I also have 2 human brothers that are so gentle with me.

I was beat & neglected by my old owners, so one day God said to me you have been hurt enough & He sent someone from Great Creatures Rescue to get me. When they got there my back legs were chained & I needed help using the bathroom. The nice lady took me & placed me with a foster home. I did not know how to act but fearfull. This nice man showed up one day to look at me & I decided that he looked pretty good to so I was on my best behavior & he adopted me. Then about a year later I met this really nice lady. Daddy really liked her to so they got married. I finally had a Mommy & Daddy that loved me. I quickly turned into a mommy's boy. When Daddy would get up to go to work, mommy would let me on the bed. I loved that. Thats when it happened. Slowly mommy started getting bigger & bigger. One morning mommy & daddy left. They were gone for a few days. I didnt understand. What had I done for them to leave me. Then mommy & Daddy came home!! I was so happy to see them UNTIL it made a noise. They had gone & gotten me a little brother. He was so good to me. I got to spend his first christmas with him. That is when they for out that I had hip dysplasia & liver failure. I was hurting all the time & mommy knew it so they took me to the doctor. They said that I would never hurt again & they were right. I closed my eyes & when I woke up I felt great. I knew mommy & daddy would not lie to me. I cant wait to see them again. I still watch over them. Bryson has a new little brother now. Mommy & Daddy have also adpoted 2 more Danes from GCR in my honor. I LOVED THEM SO MUCH!!!

I was bought from a breeder from a great couple. A little while after the got me, He got deployed so I went to live with my new Daddy. It was great. I destroyed everything in my path. Daddy still loved me though. We had a bachelor pad. All guys!! Daddy would take me to work with him. I was not the most graceful of babies. After all I was 19 months old & already weighed in at 195 lbs. Well one day I was running across the yard & never saw the garden hose laying across into the pool & I tripped over it. Daddy ran outside but he could not save me because I was playing with this really nice puppy in a really pretty field. I am very happy now but I still miss my Daddy. I know that one day I will stop what I am doing & look up & see my Daddy coming towards me. I will be so happy:)
