Mia is the prettiest, sweetest, dumbest Great Dane I have ever met.  Baby Girl is my little cheerleader.  She's tall, thin, blonde, fun, and clueless.  Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad dumb.  In fact, she's so dumb that she is blissfully clueless - the best dumb ever.  Mia enjoys life to the fullest and will never change.  This may sound bad that I'm harping on the "dumb" part - but it truly defines who she is.  I love her even more for it.  She can bark at a mirror for over an hour.  She can find a decoration in the house (that hasn't moved in a year) suddenly threatening, and will protect us from it at all cost. (that fake plant didn't stand a chance.)  

Mia does have a bit of "retard strength", and can be a bit worrisome at the dog parks sometimes.  She never means to hurt a dog - and never has - but that doesn't stop her from picking up the smaller ones from time to time.  ....and trying to pick up the larger ones.  The dogs don't always mind...but the owners sure do!

Toys are the best part of life for Mia.  She can entertain herself for hours with one toy.  Thank god for the creators of the "Cuz". 

My little girl is all love and play.  There is no such thing as a bad attitude, or bad day.  She's the sunshine in my life.  But, I swear, sometimes when I look in her eyes I hear the sound that television stations used to sign off at night.  ......a steady tone of nothingness.....
