Grooming Day and a tip for entertaining your dog!
Cammie is off at the groomer. The lady is giving her the Kerry show cut! FINALLY, someone around here knows what they're doing. Four times she's been cut like a Schnauzer, then when I'm upset, the groomer says, "Oh, she must be a poodle then", and I told them beforehand she's a Kerry blue. I'll be posting new pictures of her after I pick her up today.
As for the tip to entertain your dog indoors, I recommend a tv program called "Sunrise Earth" on Discovery hd. If you dont get Discovery HD, the dvd is for sale for $10 with a few episodes on it. Sunrise Earth is an hour long show that records the sunrise and the nature around it with sounds and animals. Cammie never misses it. It airs mon-fri 6am and 9am CDT, but you can check your listings to be sure. Sunrise Earth is something you and your pal can meditate to... Cammie just goes in a trance and/or when she sees an animal walk off-screen, she runs behind the tv to find out where it went =)

The Nasty Day
It's been a nasty day here for the past few days. There's been wind, rain, ice, and snow. Cammie has been carried by her daddy so she wont get nasty except for going to the bathroom outside. At least she's gotten to have some Milkbones! All she will do is sleep today until her daddy gets home... but she may get a surprise trip to his office to visit!
Ah, sleep
Today it started out rough. Daddy left me for work again. I tried to find him in the house, but I guess he really did leave. And no, Mommy, I dont want to play, I dont want a Milkbone... I want my Daddy! So I'm going to sleep until he gets back or maybe watch some tv. It makes Mommy sad to see me this way, but she can get over it because I'll give her the big sigh.
Back to sleep for me. I miss you Daddy!!!
