Hi, My name is Wyatt and I'm a Double Dapple Piebald Miniture Dachshund. Due to the dapple curse (or cross-breeding) I am deaf and blind on my right side (the dark side of my head). I haven't met a person I haven't liked, and haven't seen a toy that didn't make me very happy. I am a Major "Momma's Boy" and she loves me just as much, she tells me she couldn't imagine life without me. I am happiest when momma is holding me, and i love making new friends. I love going over my grandma's house because she rescued my mommy so I love to go visit and play with her.
My hobbies are torturing my big sister Lacy she is a Boston Terrier. My brother Nickleback has been adopted by my mommy's best friend and i like to go visit him also.

"Update" I have been adopted by my mommy's Best Friend, but I get to see her often.
I'm a purebreed Black/Tan Mini dachshund, but I was born with my left front leg deformed. My mommy rescued me from a breeder that didn't want me because of my little foot. I am very funny and playful, and I think more than my brother and sister were expecting. I am loved very very much. I am a little lover, and act a baby. I love to cuddle and sleep close.
Life just gets better, and i just keep getting faster.. LOL

Lacy was my Aunt's Precious little girl, and in Oct. 05 my Aunt was killed by a drunk driver and Lacu was in the car with her. Lacy was/is very spoiled and when the accident happen my cousins refused to pick her up from the humaine society (the police sent her there when they were retreiving my aunt from the wreckage. So knowing how much Lacy ment to my aunt i went and used my bill money to get her from the HS. The accident had damaged Lacy's back hips and they hurt when the weather changes. This Beautiful Baby will be a part of my life til the end of mine or the end of hers. She is the love of my life, but she loves her daddy more LOL.
I gave Lacy the middle name oF Anne since that was my aunts middle name.

Hi Furiends... we hope you had a grrreat Turkey Day. Ours was going good until we got the news that Pawsha's sister, Mia Bella had passed unexpectedly that morning. We're all still grief stricken. She had just been given a clean bill of health the week before. You can read her Memorial Blog and see her baby pictures on our Profile. She was so adorable. And she won 2 Smartest Dog awards and a bunch of 1st place awards in obediance. We're just deeply sadden. Mommy wanted us to tell you about how loyal and loving Akita's are to their familys. But are excellent watchdogs. She says every Akita that she's had does a dance when she comes home. And they have a thing about nudging you with their head when they want to show affection. Mommy says they love to learn to do tricks. Some Akitas can be aggressive. Very aggressive. Mommy says that she feels sorry for the aggressive ones. They don't get the love and affection that they should. Akita's are very smart. Sia, (mommy's blind Akita See-Ya) used to walked 89 yr. old Granny Pete home one slow step at a time. Then come trotting back home. Sia knew every inch of the 27 acres we live on by smell and by running into the garage enough times. After numerous times of hitting it she'd come to a stop and make a wide beeline around it. We used to look out our window and see Sia laying out by the tree's and deer laying right beside her. She didn't know you were supposed to chase them. Unfortunately, a coyote got ahold of Sia. Mia, Pawsha and Mia Bella's mom tried to break it up but the damage was done. They both limped home and we were told at the Vets that Sia was not able to be saved. I always say I'm not going to get another Akita. But Akita's will win your heart. I cant think of another large breed that I want. I have to have at least one Akita in my house. Then my home feels complete.
