Hi there. I am Nugget and you better not come tooo close to me or you will get a good growlin at! If I come to you its ok to pet me but be really gentle cuz even scratchins sometimes makes me mad! I really do love my family but I just don't understand who is boss right now! I have always been a little bossy and my mom trys really hard to get me out of my grumpieness but she just hasn't found the right technique yet. She is gonna go back to school to  become a trainer and I will be able to work with her and that will be fun! I have been through obedience several times and do well when I am not at home... but Home is MINE! I have some food issues too, I just can't help myself, I know I have never gone a day without food and that my mommy wouldn't let that happen but I just have to growl at her and my house mates when they come tooo close! I am a sleepaholic, when my mommy walks in the general direction of the bed room I get soooooo excited you can't even see my little cocker nub (tail)!!! I sure love to cuddle with my mommy! Oh yeah did I mention I am a mommy's boy! I will bite my daddy sometimes just because he is wrestling with my mommy... yet another thing my mommy doesn't like me to do! Oh crap! Hi! My name is Danny and I love you! In fact I love everyone I meet! I will hug you and kiss you and stare into your eyes lovingly... even if I just met you! I am a very important part of my family, I am the mediator. I have a cranky brother who thinks he runs everything but... shhhhh its really me! I am the sweetest, cutest cocker my mommy has ever seen! She really loves to take my cheeeks in her hands and squish them around! Don't tell her but I really love it too. I don't know what I would do without my family! I have to admit though I am a Daddy's boy! Me and my brother went to obedience school quite a bit as pups and my Mommy worked with my brother and my Daddy worked with me so now I just listen to dad! Hope to get to know lots of fellow doggies on here! Can't wait to get started!

I have a medical condition I am sure you have heard of "epilepsy" and have to be on medicine twice daily so I don't have siezures. I am a good boy and take my medicine really good for my mommy! I get a smooch every time I have to take a pill! Anyway I am gonna go chase my ball now but thanks for reading my story! Woof woof!

I am Leo! I am a good dog though I am very skittish of strangers and children. As you can see from my picture my eyes don't align just right so it is even common for me to bark at my mommy and daddy when they get home untill they get close enough for me to tell it's them. I was rescued by my mommy when I had been attacked by a pitbull! I had three broken ribs and a colapsed lung! My old owner was just gonna put me down! Can you believe that?! Luckily for me my mommy worked for that vet and came to my aid. She paid for my surgery and helped nurse me back to health! I am very loyal to  my mommy and would never do anything to upset her. I had to stay in the hospital for about two months because my mommy was worried that because of my weakness after surgery that my now brothers would have been tooo ruff with me! She brought them to the clinic several times before I went home to let us meet and get used to each other! It worked because they quickly fell in love with me and will even protect me from other bigger dogs! I am very sweet and timid and I love all my furry friends that I have now... though the ferrets get a little bit annoying with all the chasing of my tail they do! Speeking of chasing my tail, hey! I thought I told you not to wag! Come here! I am gonna get my tail! be back later!!!

Hi! Hi! Hi! I am Puppy! I just really love everyone! Just look at me and I will wag my tail! I will run all over the house and bark when I think someone is gonna play with me! I am older now but that doesn't stop me from being a Puppy! I used to live with my daddys dad. He unfortunatly passed away last November so I then came to live with his son and his wife and all of thier furry family! I love other dogs and even cats... ok I will tolerate the ferrets too. I love to go places and run in the woods when possible. I am a very good girl, I do sometimes get into the trash, but hey come on I am a dog and you people throw some goood stuff in there! I just had surgery a few months ago to remove a few tumors I had but am totaly healed now and you can't even tell where they were. I am enjoying my life here and think my old daddy comes and checks on me often. My old brother and sister have new homes and I don't know where they are but I hope they are as happy as I am! Gotta go now time for my mid day nap! Hey I am only 11-12 years old now! I need a nap every once in a while! Wooo Wooo Woooooo!

Tiffy was a great girl! I miss her soooo much! I got her when I was about 9 years old, she was just a pup. When I got her I asked my dad how old she would live to be. He said that I would be a senior in highschool and she would be laying next to me when I did my homework. Well she did just that! She started feeling ill around the time I started school my senior year and when we took her to the vet she was diagnosed with inoperable cancer. A few days later we had a vet come out to the house to have her put out of her misery. Not before I did my homework beside her though! My dad had passed away when I was 10 so at this point I had lost them both to cancer! It broke my heart and I will never forget her she was my "Best friend". R.I.P Tiffy I will love you forever girl!

Bubba was a very sweet little man who came from the humane society in Sprinfield Mo. Me and my mom got him for my Grandma one year for christmas because she lived alone and we thought it would be good for her to have some company. We got him and had to do some major grooming on him to make him cute for her and we tied a big red bow around his neck and when we brought him out my grandma turned her nose up and said "I don't want that thing!" So we had a new dog! lol We couldn't just take him back afterall. We kept him and he became house mate to Tiffy and they got along well. He was more or less my moms dog though and Tiffy was mine. If you have read my story about Tiffy you know she passed when I was about 17. Bubba lived on and stayed with my mom when I got married and moved away. A few months to a year after I moved out Bubba was diagnosed with lung cancer and we thought that he wouldn't last much longer. I read about giving dogs with lung cancer Flax See oil and so my mom started it and he went on to live about 3 more years. He started getting senial and lost control of his bladder and we hd to have him put to sleep the day before christmas in 2006. I worked for the vet at the time and that day I went to pick him up at the end of the day and had him put to sleep... I will never forget that sad day... I went alone, my mom couldn't handle it. I am sad I had to go alone but am glad I was there for Bubba as I could only imagine what it would be like for him to "go alone" R.I.P Bubba, I hope you and Tiffy are having fun at the Bridge... Can't wait to see you again!
