I purchased Lex from a breeder in Texas. She is my heart. She has gone thru so much in her little life. She had parvo at 8 weeks old.

She has had so many little boo-boo, scratched eyes, bee strings, too many to name. She has had numerous sicknesses, like ear infections. She also had colitis a couple of times.

She has four surgeries. The first one was when she was fixed. Then she her ACL on the right rear leg repaired. Then her body rejected the  prosthesis and had to have surgery again to replace that one with an old style prosthesis. Then the left ACL went out. Yikes. Three in a row. She recovered very quickly after each one. Although she has milked it since the first one and holds the right rear leg up all the time. The Doctor says she is fine, that there is nothing wrong with the leg.

Last year when the BAD food scare went around she suffered from that. The poor girl almost died. She was so sick.

She has been a great dog. I love the way she sits in my arms and begs with both front paws to get someone attention. When she was younger she did a lot of tricks. Sit, sit pretty,roll over, walk, bang your dead to name a few. It took me the longest time to teach her how to speak and she hasn't shut up since.

She loves to be outside, on her leash or behind the fence, chasing squirrels, cats etc. I love her so much!
