My father was a purebreed black lab and my mother was a beagle/hound mix. I was one of 4. 

I was one of 4 when I was adopted by my grandparents along with my brother. Mom says I was a free to good home and that no one had called wanting me so my grandparents did not want to leave me behind. When mom came over to see me and my brother she had to have me. We were made for each other. Mom took me home where I met my sister Daisy. She passed away from something that starts with a "C" a couple of years ago. I miss her. She did not like me at first but I loved her. I love my life. I have my mom trained but don't tell her that.

I was living the good life, so I thought. It all started when my parents had a human baby that took all their time. They quit petting me so I wnated to get some attention. According to them I reverted back to puppy behavior. I just wanted to be loved. They banished me to the yard which was the worse then they took me to a kill shelter with my sister which was even worse. I was 8 1/2 years old at the time. Who would want an old dog? Well my prayers were answered when Suzanne from Wild Heir Labrador Rescue showed up at the shelter to rescue me. It was too late for my sister. I was then placed in a foster home since I was an old guy. Two months later when mom was searching for a friend for my now sister Coco she was searching for a senior dog. She says she fell in love with my picture and had to have me. When she came to pick me up I was saying good bye to my foster family. I love my fur-ever home and mommy keeps telling me that I will never go anywhere else.
