Cataract Surgery
Hello everydoggy! Hope everyone is well. As you all know, I am a diabetic and as a result of this, I have developed cataracts in both eyes. I fortunately have been quite lucky in that because my mummy takes such good care of me, the cataracts that have been very slow to progress over the past three years. But, she says that it is now time for me to have something done about them before they get any worse. She tells me she would have done it three years ago when they started, but unfortunately being a uni student means you have limited funds.
So anyway, my mummy took me to a specialist this week to make sure I am a candidate for surgery and to arrange the surgery. So in two weeks time now, I will be able to see properly again. I am so excited and so is my mummy. I cant wait to be able to see everything clearly again. It will be great. Mummy is a little scared though. As with any surgery, animal or human, there are always risks, but I keep assuring her that I will be fine.
On another note, this weekend, my mummy is taking me to church for the annual blessing of the animals. I am so excited because every time we have tried to go to it, something has always come up. Not this time though. Anyway, I will bark with you all later.

We are sorry to hear that you have to have surgery. But it is nice that you will be able to see properly again. It sounds like you have a very good Mom. I think it would be really cool to go the the annual blessing of the animals. This seems like the perfect time for you to go. Keep reassuring your Mom that you will be fine. Cause you know how Moms can be when it comes to their babies. But its just cause they love us so much.
Bark at ya later.
