He was found roaming the streets in Houston Texas, when the shelter took him he was in a sorry state.
He had mange and a mangled hip and leg, he had an opperation to fix this and also had some toe's amputated.
He recovered well and was put up for adoption and has been a loving member of my family ever since.
A few years ago he developed testicular cancer even though he was supposedly neutered. He had a large mass which turned out to be a testicle missed when he was neutered and some female tissue. This was quite an operation and took him a while to recover.
Looking at him now you would not believe what he has been through.

Hi friends,
Here we (Charlotte and Eine) are at the pool! We were excited to get inside, but once we were, we were more interested in meeting people and other dogs than we were swimming! Mom says it is nice that she doesn't need a leash as neither of us would leave her side!

Hey Ellie and Redford,
How are you today? What you been up to lately? Mom says she's been playing "catch up" from her trip, what ever the heck that means.
Guess what? Last night mom took us to the Sonic and you'll never guess what they did, they gave us for free 4 little doggie cups of ice cream! Yummy! it was so good! But quite a sight, when Murphy, Leroy and Tucker finished theirs first they tried to get mine! (Lucy's) UNFAIR! What's a Lady to do! I am such a dainty little thang and ladies do not gulp their food! You guys have a good day and rest of the week!

Thanks for barking while we've been gone, we are enjoying reading all the barks. Guess what Mom brought us from Missouri, she brought us toys and treats! We will share them with you guys! One toy is a stuffed dog head on a little quilted blanket, and it has like 16 squeakers sewn into the quilted pockets. It is Pawsome! and she brought doggie peanut butter cookies and chocolate and she even tasted them before she bought them. She said the cookies tasted just like human ones and the store was having a contest to name the cookies. If she wins we'll get a doggie bag of lots of goodies.
