Hi doggy pawls! I'm Cali, I'm an almost 5 year old Maltese (my bday is June 4, hint hint) I was a gift from my daddy's best friend Mike. You see, my mommy had a Maltese before me, her name was Savannah-booboo, she was very special. Mikey loved her so much he went out and got 3 of his own Maltese's. Savannah developed hermangiosarcoma (a liver cancer) when she was almost 14, when she went to doggy heaven Mikey decided to breed one of his show Maltese's, little Katie, for mommy. He surprised her with me, the only girl of the litter! (there were only 2 of us in the litter). It was truely the best present anyone could ever give mommy!
I share my house with mommy Shann, daddy Todd, little boy brother Foster, fur brother Slush and fur brother Holden.
Holden is a 13 year old hybrid rescue. Mommy and daddy adopted him when he was 1, he's a Houdini escape artist, but the sweetest soul ever.
Slush is a pure bred white Husky with ice blue eyes and black eyeliner! lol! He'll be 2 years old on June 24. He's a handful but loves to give kisses and is super sweet.
You'll see my cousin Daisy on mydogspace also! She love's my brother Slush!

I'm Slush, my sister Cali pretty much said it all. I'm a VERY energetic Siberian Husky. My boy Foster wanted a Husky since he was a baby (he's 8 now) and when he and his parents saw me at the local pet store they couldn't resist. Eye used my killer eye control power over them (it works every time).
I love to play, go on runs (I don't walk I'm a Husky!) dig at the beach and swim in the ocean. I LOVE the water, I go out there while my family surfs, they're trying to teach me to get on the surfboard but I just want to be in the water.

My name is Holden and I think I'm the luckiest doggy alive. I was rescued by my mommy Shann and daddy Todd way back in 1996. I was dropped off as a 4 week old puppy to the Wolf Rescue Foundation of Los Angeles, Ca.. I am a hybrid, that means my mom was a wolf and my dad was a German Shepard. A very kind and AMAZING lady named Pailey knew I was special, so talked the rescue foundation into letting me be adopted out. (Usually they take hybrid pups to a special place in Montana or if there's no room they have them put down). The first family that adopted me couldn't handle me. I'm VERY pack oriented (that wolf thing in me) so when they would leave to go to work (they worked ALL DAY!) I would go crazy trying to get out of the house to get to them. I accidently tore up their house and jumped out the window, broke down the fence gate and ran to find them. They gave me back to Pailey. Then my mommy Shann and daddy Todd met me at a Petco. Pailey explained to them my wolf qualities and special needs. They decided they had to have me, they fell right in love, so did I! I also fell in love with mommy's other fur baby Savannah-booboo, we were best buds (although she was the boss!)
It's been heaven ever since. I'm a little older now so I get a little cranky but I still LOVE people, I just don't like noise.
I need as much love as possible and I think I'm the size of a lap dog!
They call me Houdini because when I was younger I could get out of the tiniest space, but I only did that when my pack was gone! I finally realized they always come home (and they are never gone very long, mommy works from home)
I have LOTS of adventures to tell, I'll start blogging soon!

Princess Gigi and her family. MDS is such a wonderful group of caring and
compassionate friends. Unfortunately, Gigi's daddy had another stroke this week
and passed away. Please keep this family in your prayers. If you would like to

Many of you know the beautiful Princess Gigi. Her and her family are in need of all the love, support, and prayers you can send. Her daddy had several strokes over the summer, which is why they haven't been barking. I would like to pass on the latest email we received from Gigi's mom...
It has been a very hard few weeks. Ed is home now with hospice. They started
him on morphine yesterday for his pain. He has gotten very weak and lost a bunch
of weight. I don't think it will be long now and he will be in a much better
place. He will get to see our son again. Timmy was killed in a car wreck in
2004. Ed and Timmy were very close. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. I
don't mind if you let the others know what is going on. If you get a chance I
would love for you to visit Timmy's website.

It is supposed to be a pretty day here today. I sure hope I get to go outside and play for a while. Three more days to the the big bang day. I am soooo excited. Are you afraid of the pop pops? I like to bark at them. Mama says she will be glad when they stop. I think she is getting tired of my barking. I try not to do it, but then someone lights one of those real loud ones and I get so excited I have to bark. I hope you have a very fun day.
