Blaze Elizabeth is an amazing girl! Her mommy (the family  @#$% Miss Liberty Belle) had 6 previous litters, and this was her 7th and last. Libby never had easy pregnancies (irregular cycles and hard deliveries) and the birth of my buddy Blaze was no different. She started having puppies at 5 pm and had delievered 5 by midnight that night, she hadn't had one for over two hours when i began to get worried, Libby was still panting and squirming with what looked to be contracrions. and BAM! at 11:06  that next afternoon Blaze popped out. she was born with her placenta torn (Marconeium) and wasn't moving. Libby pushed her to the side. i ran to get a baby aspirator and suction her nose, and her stepmom and i kept trying to sling her lungs open, and she let out a gurgleish grunt then a whine.. i tried to lay her with her brothers and sisters, but Libby kept pushing her to the side, i finally knocked some sense into Lib, and stayed that afternoon on the porch until everything seemed to work out. She's got a lil speckle to her coloring and is dainty compared to her mom and dad. There have been times where i snuck her into the house on hot days when it was just myself and left the others out to play..so she could get nice and cool. We've shared french fries and ice tea.. and my upstairs bedroom..even when she was supposed to sleep outside.

I love her to bits and even though i married and moved away in December of 07 and am starting a family of my own i still consider her part of mine!
