A very sad day

As you may have noticed we haven't been on mds for a long time. That isn't because we are busy but it had just been too painful to go on. We were working on Hyena getting him ready to be rehabilitated and he was doing really well until one day he just snapped and started attacking us. Bindi and Ruby came to our assistance because as you may know they are experienced with Hyenas and because of them we found hyena before the poachers did. Anyway the got hyenas off us and tried to pin him down so we could shot him with a tranquilizer but he was too strong and crazy the tranquilizers did nothing to him. He tore our two beautiful dogs to shreds and they both died. We managed to get to safety and then had to put Hyena down as he could not be let into the wild in his condition as he

Would be a danger to the public and their dogs as well as other Hyenas and even himself. Please don’t let this horrific experience chang your view of Hyenas in general. It hasn’t changed ours we still se them as wonderfully beautiful and glorious creature.
Hyenas should not have to live in fear of poachers or be farmed in appalling conditions just so humans can enjoy the luxury of a hyena pie. We will continue to fight for the Hyenas rights.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mommy and I will be pwaying for Bindi and Ruby. We will see them soon someday. =( And we are so pwoud of you for fighting for the hyenas also.
