She has aquired a new buddy, Blue. They are getting along just great!

Bluu was added to the family shortly after we lost our Mr. B to cancer. He is a beautiful Blue Pit Bull. His older sister, Shakey is taking to him pretty well. He is not a replacement for Mr. B, but a wonderful addition to the family!!!

Rainbow Bridge

Mr. B became a part of our family at the young age of 3 weeks. He was bread to fight and to be used as "bait" for the other dogs. When I first saw him, he was in a cage, in the cold, away from his mother who was also chained outside. Seeing him broke my heart. I actually (stole) him then called animal control on the owner. He chewed everything and anything. It was his way or no way. If we left him out back or outside too long (more then 10 minutes) he had tried to scale the 8 ft fence, chewed the siding off the house, and almost ate completely through the back door. Twice, he ripped his paw open trying to get over the fence and he had to get emergency surgery. He was short and fat (80 lbs) and there was no way he was able to get over the fence, but he tried. His health started to decline about a year ago. His quality of life was just not worth seeing him suffer anymore. The hardest thing I have ever had to do was make the appointment to have him put down. I took a week off from work. His last dat will forever be embedded in my head. I was with him the whole time and he went to sleep in my lap. His spirit went to Rainbow Bridge and his vessel was cremated. I wear a pawprint charm around my neck that contains his ashed so he will forever be close to my heart. He has a memorial at immortalpets.com. Feel free to stop by and light a candle on his page for him. Thanks <3
