Playdates, dye jobs, and bathtime...oh my!
My girlfriend Maya came over again last night! I was so happy! Her mommy and Mom's roommate went to a baseball game so she got to stay with us! We went for a walk together, chased each other, played, wrestled, and then she ate all my food! I'm not sure her mommy feeds her enough, if she's that hungry all the time.. But she probably does because I heard her mommy saying something about always eating cat food, which I understand cos for whatever reason that stuff is just YUM-MY! Too bad Mom's roommate keeps Linc's food up on the table, or I'd always be stealing a bite. Not fair! At bedtime yesterday Maya kept running downstairs to play with me, it was so sweet. But then her mommy came downstairs and took her to bed for good. I guess I'll see her again soon.
Today I got a new collar, it looks so good on me! Mom was saying something about some Andy guy and soup cans, I don;t know what that has to do with my collar since it's yellow and has dog food cans on it, Mom can be so weird sometimes. I don't always understand humans and what they talk about.. I also got a bath today and Mommy used something called Kool-Aid to dye me ORANGE! I like it, but it's gonna take some getting used to. It's not very bright though, you'd think she woulda made it brighter. Oh well. I didn't really enjoy the bath part, especially since Mommy kept holding me down when I tried to jump out of the sink. What a meanie! She knows I hate baths.
At least afterwards I got treats and we played fetch in the living room for a bit. But now I'm sleepy after all that excitement, so it's time to bug Mom to take me out to potty so I can nap in peace!
