Fenway's first swim

I live at the beach and unfortunately can't bring Fenway there till after labor day. However, there's a basin right next to my house that I took Fenway to today for the first time. My god did he love it. I've never had a dog that loved to swim like he does. He's never really liked fetching things. In the water, he snaps at the ball, but if he doesn't actually get it in his mouth, he keeps on going and doesn't turn back for the ball. The water is really gross out here so I threw him in the shower after which he proceded to do a fun run around the entire house. What a cutie!
