How long is winter?

Does anyone know how long winter is?  Sure, it was fun at first, chasing snowflakes and eating them- yum!  But sometimes it’s icy and just plain cold!  I remember the good old days when Shooz would just clip on my leash and we would dash outside, taking long, leisurely walks.  But now going outside is a big deal—snow boots, coat, hat, scarf and gloves for Shooz and even I have to wear a little coat.  I know it keeps me warm but I don’t like putting it on.  I hide it everytime we come back in but Shooz always manages to find it and makes me wear it again. Now, Shooz and I both walk very fast.  Sometimes we just go out to take care of business then we head right back inside. And can I just say I don’t really enjoy walking on ice!  It’s cold and slippery!!! I hope winter is almost over—I miss the nice, warm sunshine.
