Hodge had a very rough puppy-hood. His original owners abandoned him and his brother, Podge, leaving them to run the streets alone, without shelter, and without love. Safe Harbor rescued them from the pound that same year.

In 2001, my boyfriend adopted Hodge from Safe Harbor and he has been a part of his life ever since. Hodge didn't enter my world until George and I moved in together in 2006- but he is my baby just the same.

Hodge is an oversized, beautiful American Bulldog with an outstanding personality. He loves attention- from both humans and other animals. He is quite the popular guy- ask anyone, and they can tell you all about Hodge.

At the age of 8, he still thinks he is a puppy! Especially now that he has a new baby brother in the house!

Hodge loves eating treats, going to the dog park or dog beach, long walks with George, and most importantly- sleeping!
