so sad about my rocky
We have decided to put rocky to sleep tomorr as his tummor is so big now and he is in pain and his back legs are going he is struggling a bit now also so we feel its time, but i still feel like im letting him down some way i just hope he will understand we are doing it for him and we dont want to see him in pain and suffering, i know it sounds silly but i love him so much and still remember when we fist got him 15 yrs ago at 5 hours old, when everyone kept saying not to get to attached as he wont live long maybe a wk, then the wk turned in to 2 wks and 3 wks then a couple months, and now 15 years down the line they have been a handfull with more than some mad funny times, alot of the film marley and me is alot like rocky but a bit more mad lol. thinking back over the years i've come to realize its been the best 15 years i could ever ask for i just wish i can have another 15 years, but i know i was the luckest person to have the best dog ever..... will miss you always Rocky xx

Bless you for being brave enough, strong enough, and caring enough to do what is best for Rocky.
And please rest assured that Rocky understands what you are doing and why, and he loves you for it. Dogs don't fear death like people do. Dogs understand that death is a part of life - and when the time comes it is time.
He will be eternally grateful for that loving touch, that whispered assurance, and that final kiss as he goes to the bridge.
You are doing what is best for him, because you love him. Rocky, like all good dogs has always understood your emotions (perhaps even better than you do) and he will understand, appreciate, and love you for this gift.
Our thoughts and hearts will be with Rocky and his people.

We are so sorry to hear about Rocky. It must be hard. If there is anything we can do let us know. You are doing what is best for Rocky. You don't want to see him in pain. He will be better off. We'll be praying for you and your family.

Just know that you are not letting him down in any way at all. He had a long and wonderful life. He was so lucky to have been a part of your family. I know these words won't ease the pain because I've been in your shoes. I had to do the very same thing 2 years ago. We will be thinking and praying for all of you. Missy & the girls
