Hes a big dog in a tiny body. He is small for a papillon, weighing in at about 5 lbs. But he has a lot of fight in him.

We call him the Pet Police, he has the habit of monitoring everything that everyone does in the house, including the other animals. He is the first to jump up and go after Dakota if Im calling him, just to let him know he is not moving fast enough.

His favorite things to do is sleep and bully Dakota. 

Dakota is a sweetie, he is a lap dog that has no idea he is bigger than the lap. He loves kittens and kids, not so great on male dogs around his size at first but he warms up quickly. He is also very protective for a Golden. He allows Chevy to boss him around, but when he has had enough will put him in his place.

Dakota has to be in whatever room I am in, he is a clutz, always knocking things over, bumping into people, and has a horrible habbit of laying right behind you in the kitchen when you are unaware.

And Dakota is unique, as he is a Golden Retriever, who CANT SWIM. Im talking, he freezes up in the water and i had to swim out and bring him back to land. Ive pretty much given up on teaching him to swim, but he still loves to go to the river and run around in the woods. 

But, his sweetness and cool tricks makes up for all of that.
