Ripley is a harlequin great dane. He came from a breeder in AZ that loves her dogs but shouldn't breed them. Unfortunately LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH!!! There were 5 pups in Rip's litter and only two lived. Those two turned out to be monsters. Neither likes people or other animals. Rip's temperment problems are GENETIC! Please, leave the breeding to the experts. The people who devote their lives to making better examples of the breed. Just because you have a dog and it is intact DOES NOT MEAN YOU SHOULD BREED IT!!! You want to breed? PROVE YOUR DOGS FRIST!!!
Ripley is lucky in that he ended up with a dog trainer and someone who understands him and his problems and is careful not to let him out to bite people.
Another fun fact, I was given full breeding rights to this dog. That means I couldve bred him, sold his puppies as purebred pups "with papers" to unsuspecting people (for lots of money), and then they would have their hearts broken after nine months when the pups suddenly "turn" mean. Please, don't breed just anything to just anything. There is a fair amount of homework required to breed dogs correctly. I wish Rip's "breeder" wasn't also still breeding danes. Breeding should never be for money, only to make BETTER examples of your breed.

ILP# Ben's exceptin to the rule
McKenze was given to us as a present- yet another bad idea!!! Don't give animals as gifts!
She was the last of her litter, lucky for us. She is a GREAT rottweiler. She LOVES the water and will dive under it. She holds her breath! She loves to play fetch and knows a lot of different commands. McKenze recently earned her CD title from the AKC. She also has her CGC ( canine good citizen ) certificate from the AKC, she is a great representitive of her breed.

Lilly is a merle Great Dane with cropped ears. She and her brother Nigel were born at home. Lilly is a real pleaser. She stays close and tries her hardest not to get into trouble. This past October Lilly earned her CD title from the AKC. She finished with three first place scores. Lilly also has her CGC ( canine good citizen ) cerificate from the AKC. We are proud of Lilly.

Eine (pronounced INA) came to us from a wonderful friend. She also happens to show and breed some of the BEST blues and blacks in the country, maybe even the world! Eine is a blue with croped ears. So far she hasn't had any puppies but depending on how her show career goes, who knows? She is beautiful inside and out, her temperment is stellar and her conformation is excellent! Let's not forget that temperment is GENETIC!!!!!

Green Bean is our newest pack member. He is adorable. He just had his ears clipped on wed, so he has a cup on his head. After the cup, he will have his ears taped for the next few months to make sure they stand up nice and tall. We are planning on showing him in conformation, but even if he doesn't win a thing in the ring, he has already won our hearts.
Beaner is quite the funny man, with no one his size to play with he is trying to convince the older dogs to play. Not having much luck with that idea. They are all still looking at me like "WHY???"

Hi 7 dogs! Gosh, Bean's ears look fabulous!! First of all: Happy egg day! (Whatever that is..) Mama got this terrible sinus infection this week, and even her vodka with it's healing properties didn't help! So she's sorry she hasn't barked in a few days..She's feeling much better now, she went to the doctor. We have been especially BAD here is a picture of Sophie in the yard playing with one of mama's r2d2 collectibles. She snuck it outside with her and destroyed it.. 
And here is a picture of us running thru the screen door. I cleverly figured out how to slide it open, and thats how Sophie was able to help herself to an r2d2!!Look at how fast as flames I am running. My ears are blowin' back!

Hey! Mom said since today is Egg Day and tomorrow is Sausage Pizza day she thought she would combine them and have Sausage and Egg Pizza Day. We don’t mind…we kinda like all of our food mixed together anyways. Hope you like it! Daddy is on vacation next week YAY! I don’t know what we’re going to do yet but mom says it’s spring cleaning time (she’s weird…she does it in the fall) and I heard her mention something about me (Chi) needing a haircut! So I really think I’m leaving for vacation to someplace else…how’s the weather where you live?
