      Well, the old keyboard and paws have come together again to tell another chapter of the continuing saga of my often exciting life. As you know, I have been babysitter Benji for over a month now since Emily and Conner's human dad went into the hospital with pancreitis. He came home for a couple of days, and I thought my duty of being a babysitter was over. Unfortunately, a couple of days later, he went back into the hospital and is even sicker than before. So I put my babysitter hat back on and am doing another round.

 A bunch of men came and dug a big, long hole in the yard. I was mad because when I dig in the yard I get in trouble, but Daddy said that they were doing that to keep my new bed from floating away and water from coming in the house. I hope it works. If Momma and Daddy had told me they needed a hole dug, I would have dug it for them and they would have to spend any Milkbonres. Humans think us dogs can't do anything. Boy, if they only did know.

Two sleeps ago, Momma did not take me walking; she said it was raining. She didn't show me so I did not believe her and refused to talk to her for the rest of the night. So yesterday, I made her take me out earlier than usual. Oh she is so aggravatingly slow. She put the cart on me and then turned around and went back in the house. Well, this, I thought, was not fair. So as I have done before, I decided that I would take myself for a walk. She came out and started following me.

       My human cousin, Shade, came out of her house and saw me trotting down the road and then looked at Momma and said, "What are ya'll doing?"

     Momma yelled, "Follow that dog!"

     Shade can run, but in the Boomer Zoomer I can run faster, and I Zoomed to the bottom of the hill, and turned around and gave the two of them my biggest doggy smile. They were making the happy noises at me. Momma said that since we were already half way around the block without my leash we might as well continue on. It was neat being able to walk without my leash. I was a good girl and stayed right next to Momma except when I went up in a couple of driveways.

Today Momma and I have awakened very early. Momma can't sleep because her knee is hurting. So while the house is quiet, she and I decided to send a few barks. We hope you have a wonderful day, The happiest of Mother's Days, and a great week.

Hello Friends!! We have been real busy teaching Brendle and Bambi how to be social around humans. See they are very scared because they do not know what it is like to be in a safe loving home. They are starting to adjust. Last night they stayed in the house because of the rain. They stayed in Samantha’s room and had no accidents. They let Momma and Samantha pet them and hold them. Momma has left a message with the humane society to see if they will help us with finding them homes and some vet bills. See their blog.

We want to say how sad we were to hear LillyAnn went to the rainbow bridge. She will be deeply missed by many people and dogs.

We have to go now. We are going to make a special background for Mother’s day. We do have two Moms, Momma and Anastasia. We almost forgot, look at Nickey, Diamond, Auntie Hydie and me, Anastasia, in our new Astrid ecentric neck wear.
