Dog Blog: New Homes

Well the puppies have kept me quite busy these last nine weeks.  This experience turned out to be even more work than I thought it was going to be.  We finally found homes for all the pups except for Athena who we are keeping.  They all went to great new families where I know they will be cherished.  So our first litter was a success and a joy at the same time.  I definitely can wait to have another one though.  Two more years and we will do this again with Stewie and Athena, but this time we are going to plan the litter, so we can be even better prepared!  We are having Kylie fixed next week to give her a wonderful life free from future babies.  She is such a wonderful mom but two litters is definitely her limit!
