Jack Goes to School
Oohhh, I just LOVE children ~ I got lots of hugs and rubs, it was HEAVENLY. My third AAT “job” went GREAT! Even Mom was surprised how good and calm I was (atypical of aussies – especially me). Some of our close pals may recall my “OD’d on Naughty”, blog. I seem to know when my vest is on, it means focus time.
We had five classes of kids, mostly first graders. We taught bite prevention, pet safety and how to correctly approach a dog (including their own). Mom always is shocked to hear and see how some kids act (unsafely) around dogs. She told them that many pets lose their homes because kids get bitten, after jumping around, getting in the dog’s face or near their food/toys. Not us dogs’ fault!!!
After we were finished, mom took me to Three Dog Bakery for an extra special treat (carob mousse). I slept all the way home. Jackpot
