Yet Another Weird Cat
What's wrong with the cats in my neighborhood? Ok, so their not THAT weird, but still...I should probably write the story before I blog-rant. Ok, so I was taking a walk with my dad, when we came across a black cat. I went into point mode, waiting to see if the cat would run for it. It didn't move a muscle. I dropped out of point mode...I mean, who wants to chase a cat that won't move? It's no fun! Just as we were about to walk away, a car pulled up next to the house where the black cat apparently lived. Didn't seem to mean anything so we moved on, or tried to. The cat attacked me. Attacked me! I didn't do anything to it, other than thinking about chasing it. "Freeloader no!" The owners got out of the car and tried to get the cat away from me. It attacked again. This time it attacked me back legs, and probably thought that scratching my dad was a bonus. "Freeloader no!" The call came again. Ok, I wasn't going to take this. I ran behind my dad. No way I'm fighting that crazy cat! One of the owners managed to shoo the cat into the house, while the other apologized to my dad.
The lesson learned from the cats in my neighborhood: NEVER, EVER LIVE IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD!!!!!!!!!!!! (if you're a dog)

The Weird Cat
Dad was taking me for a walk around the neighborhood yesterday after work, when I smelled a cat. It was hiding in the bushes, obviously unaware of the fact that I was there, because it didn't move. Because of my herding/hunting instincts, I went into "Stalk Mode" to chase that kitty out! And if it was a stray....I wouldn't have minded to have nipped at it! Anyways, I crept toward the bushes and....Whatdaya know! It came out of the bush! I thought this would make the chase easier, but instead of running away from me....IT WENT UP AND RUBBED AGAINST MY DAD'S LEG!!!!!!!!!!!! I was shocked that he dared to do that. Did Mr. Kitty think that if I attacked him then that Dad would save him? I decided I would check him out before a chase, so I sniffed his behind. The cat whirled around. I thought it would claw my nose for sure, but it rubbed up against MY LEG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was officially uncomfortable around this cat, so I walked away, VERY fast. It was the weirdest cat I have ever met, and you meet a lot of cats in my neighborhood.

Dad has a job!
My dad has not gone away for the entire day for a year or two, allowing me to play with him non-stop, but now that's over. I thought he had been acting weird, going away for hours at a time, and the words 'job interview' came up over and over. Then, that stopped too. I was hoping to go back to playing with him, but he seemed tired so I let him rest for the rest of the day. IT WAS HARD TO LEAVE HIM BE, I TELL YOU, HARD!!!!!!!!! Then today, he got up six o' clock, weird for him, he normally stays in bed untill nine o' clock. I thought "Well, the earlier he gets up, the more we can play!" but NOOOOO! He left and didn't come back untill 4 o' clock P.M. He kept on telling me that he had to go to his 'job', what ever that is......and was 'working' to earn money for more toys and balls. Untill then, I was very mad at him, but earning 'money' to buy toys is so thoughtfull! How could I stay mad at him!
