Where to take a Diva?
Sam has been dropping off gifts for his Diva Girl. Soon he will ask her out for a date. He is very nervous about where to take her. Sam wants to make a good first impression for his Love. Any ideas on where to take a Diva? Please leave some suggestions for Sam. Thanks for your help.

Temptation has come Sam’s way to try and get him to play the field. Sorry Girls, I’m a 1 girl dog dog. I have my eye on an older girl and will not do anything to mess it up. Sorry 
She is a Diva to beat all Diva’s and I am totally devoted to just her. I don’t mean to break hearts. Just be happy, a great boy dog will be along any moment to sweep you off your 4 feet,
Sam is in Love!
Sam is in love and is sending out butterfly kisses to all. He is in love with an older woman who is the most beautiful Diva around. More to come as this love affair unfolds. See if you can guess who the Lucky Dog is. Sam sent her a gift today. And there has been some talk of dating.
IT'S TICK SEASON!
BE CAREFUL OUT THERE. TICKS ARE ON THE RISE. PROTECT YOURSELVES WITH WHAT WORKS BEST FOR YOU. MOM HAS TREATED THE YARD AND OUR PLAYROOM TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE. WE HAVE PLAYMATES STAY OVERNITE SOMETIMES, SO MOM MAKES SURE THEY HAVE BEEN TREATED AND TREATS THE AREAS WHERE OUR FRIENDS HANG OUT. SO BE ON THE LOOK OUT AND TELL YOUR HUMAN COMPANIONS TO MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOU OUT AFTER BEING OUTSIDE.

Sam was almost a goner!
As you know I take Sam & Lexi to feed the ducks every few days. Sam likes riding in the stroller and Lexi is in and out. Well the both of them picked up a few seed ticks on one of our outings. They both recieved a bath and Frontline plus was applied to them both. I used 1 tube between the 2 of them as they both are small dogs. I used less on Sam as he weighs only 3 pounds. Well with in an half hour Sam was getting sick. He was barfing his little guts out. I put him in the sink and washed off the remaining frontline from his skin so no more would go into his tiny blood stream. I induced vomiting and stayed up with him all nite. He was not well at all. He couldn’t lay down to sleep. He kept getting up and walking around and whining. It was a rough night, but he pulled through with flying colors. Never again will I put any chemical on my dogs. I now use primrose to keep the critters off my babies.
It was another close call for my baby boy. But again he was tough and pulled through like the trooper he is.
No more fleas or ticks. The problem has been taken care of. Be very care in what you put on your babies. These products have been out for years and with no problems for some dogs. But I almost found out te hard way that putting a pesticide on your dog is not the answer. I wouldn’t put something like that on my human children so I shouldn’t have put it on my animal children. Just be very careful.

A Happy Memorial Day Wish!

Lexi is MAD!
Well summer is here and it’s very hot out. I decided to shave Lexi down some so she could be a little cooler. Little did I know that she had become such a prima donna that she would be so upset. We shaved only her body and left everything else long. She likes having her hair up in a pony tail. Little did I know that she would prefer all of her hair long as she was shaved down when I got her. I guess I spoiled her so much that she like being brushed everyday. She will not take any treats from me, she doesn’t meet me at the door when I get home from work. It has been 3 days.
Finally today (4th day) she took a treat from me. I will never shaved her down again.
She is now sporting a tank top until her hair grows out again. It seems to help some.
I guess it’s like going bald all in 1 day, that could be very upsetting to us. It didn’t occur to me that Lexi cared so much about having long hair. I just hope the trust comes all the way back. I feel just horriable.
