Daisy May, or Daisy, is quite a beagle. She was also adopted into our family. Daisy was another beagle with a rough life; she was pregnant and didn't turn out to be the hunter her owner wanted her to be. Instead of letting her be a house dog, he let her go in the woods. She had her puppies, but unfortunately they were not found with Daisy when BONES had found her wandering. A new mother obviously, she would steal stuffed kittens or puppies off my bed or from the stored stuffed animals in the basement. She even acted like Tuco's mother, even though he is older. She's outgrown that a little, but she still nestles with a stuffed kitten she took upon herself to "take care of".  Just like her adopted brother (they're not from the same litter) she had trouble barking. Instead of barking, Daisy moo's like a cow. She is VERY vocal and will always tell you when she's hungry.. or tired.. or needs to go out.. or wants to come in.. or anything else. She sometimes thinks she's as small as her brother and will try to cuddle just like he does, but she's a bit too big to be a lap dog. Unfortunately, none of us can say no to her when she jumps up and we just let her be. Even though she is bigger, she follows Tuco around and is very submissive to him. She's better with baths, car rides, and vet visits as long as she can see Tuco. We're so happy we decided to adopt another beagle, even though they may be noisy and a tad destructive at times. They make a great team, and Tuco even learned how to stand on Daisy's back.
