LISTERINE
NOW, I KNOW TO PUT LISTERINE IN A SPRAY BOTTLE AND SPRAY ON YOUR SELF WILL KEEP THE MOSQUITOS AWAY. EVEN JUST SPRAYING ON OR AROUND WHERE YOU ARE SITTING OUTSIDE. IT KILLS THEM. EVEN THE CHEAPER BRAND YOU CAN GET AT A DOOLAR STORE IS SUPPOSE TO WORK JUST LIKE THE ORGINIAL. BUT , I WAS WONERING IF I SPRAY THIS ON MY PETS WILL IT BE OK TO USE, I KNOW IT WILL KILL THE MISQUITOS, BUT WILL IT HARM THEIR HAIR OR SKIN.
LISTERINE HAS BEEN USED FOR YEARS ON PEOPLE LIVING IN HIGH RISK AREA OF MISQUITOS. AND IT IS CHEAPER THEN THE BRANDS YOU BUY FOR YOUR SELF ,LIKE OFF OR OTHER BRANDS. AND WORK BETTER.
SO, DO ANY ONE KNOW ABOUT THEIR PETS USING IT. I GUESS I COULD ASK THE VET. BUT I THOUGHT I WOULD MENTION IT HERE TO SEE IF WE HAVE SOME ONE OUT THERE KNOWING ABOUT THIS.

I think because it has some alcohol content I would be careful. You could use basil leaves as a rub also .And theres supposed to be recipes for dog biscuits that contain brewers yeast that keep away fleas and ticks.btw Your many photo reminds mom of her niece

One thing that I know works for mosquitos and fleas is Skin So Soft by Avon. You can just mist it on them. Now it will make their fur a little yucky because of the oils in it so I wouldn't go crazy when putting it on them.

I never heard of that before but its a great tip, as far as spraying it on your dog i think your best bet would be is to ask the vet. let me know what you find out.
