Foster Needed for Rescue Doggy
Hi Everyone,
I have two deaf and partially blind doggy's coming from down south at almost the same time and can only keep one here with us. Is there anyone in the NYC area who would be willing to foster a wonderful special needs dog.
Thanks
Margret
We are happy for me but poor Hershey
Woof woof friends
We went for my follow up visit to the veterinary yesterday and my chest xrays were clear. All paws crossed that I stay free of cancer but I have to go back in 2 months for another follow up.
My poor brother Hershey though has not been himself lately always falling down we are hoping just arthritis but Auntie put in some extra $$ for him to be xrayed and blood taken. The vet said definite muscel atrafeed (is that how you spell it wooooof) bad hips and spine but he also saw something around the spleen. Could be just the spleen xrays are not exact pictures would need a sonogram for that but he says lets see what the blood results say today and if there is something off in the bloods then he will come back for a sonogram. Looks like we might have to raise money for brother Hersh also. All paws crossed its nothing.
After the vet we went to the doggy beach. Hershey is affraid of the water but I went in and tried to swim..was to scared though with 3 legs. See in my album the new pic of me in the water. Mommy says she wants to check to see how much a doggy floatation thing is.

Woof woof
I am back and excited about my new donations page
I have been doing well. Not walking to much in this heat but happy and seamingly healthy. We plan on getting my follow up treatment (xrays etc) in the beginning of July and that is so important to make sure the cancer has not spread into my internal organs. I am thinking positively about this but before then I have an appointment with the veterinary to get my monthly supplements on Monday. Mommy does not have the money for this so I am hoping for some angels to step forward.

Hi Everyone
Hi Everyone,
I know some of you have probably gotten board with coming back again and again to nothing new on my site. Mommy has been going through a lot. Good news I am doing great. I had my final chemo treatment last Thursday and will go in for a follow up visit (hopfully) the beginning of July. This is one of the reasons Mommy has been upset. The fund I was with which was helping us to raise money for my treatments...well there was not enough money in the pot when my last chemo treatment happened...from the way the funds looked on the site Mommy and Auntie thought there was enough there but there was not so instead of the fund letting us continue with them to raise the balance of $918 they left us with the Veterinary bill. Mommy tried to talk with the lady who runs the fund but she did not seem to understand the dier situation we are in with Mommy being unemployed and no money coming in plus also having to raise money for my Holistic treatments which is about $400 monthly, So this leaves mommy with having to pay this bill no way to pay it except to fund raise but she has to fund raise for my followup treatment and holistic. If the bill is not paid I can not go for my followup and that could
Hello Everyone
Woof woof everyone, I am doing great, enjoying life and the warmer weather. I am coming into my final chemo treatments. I go Thursday morning. Mommy has been busy looking for a job and worked for 3 weeks on a Broadway Cabaret. It was great exposure, but she needs a full time job with a 401K and insurance. She needs to make enough money to pay the rent and for my chinese herbs for the next 2 years. She stays cheery though and does not let me know things are bothering her. I now have many new friends in the neighborhood and enjoy waiting in the street or the park every day to say hello to everyone. I hope all my friends are doing great out there in DoggySpace and send them all a little lick.
Hugs
Sally
Hopefully now we are up and running
Hi Everyone,
Mom finally got a computer up and running. I am doing well, I had my midway chemo and now this week I will be going again. I go for chemo every 3 weeks. Mom, is struggling financially but also has me on holistic care. I go to my holistic veterinary this coming Monday. We are with The Magic Bullet Fund and IMOM for my traditional cancer treatment but have no help with my holistic care.
I am so happy the warmer weather is here. I like to sit outside my building and have a bit of a fan club of people who stop and talk to me everyday and give me a pet. I also enjoy going to the park I get a lot of attention there. I love to socialize so much, Mom says its one of the things that really keeps me going.
Without a computer, Oh my!!!!
Hi Everyone
Our computer crashed about 2 weeks ago and we were not able to say hi. We are on a friends computer now but we will have a computer up and running by next Wednesday.
I had my halfway Chemo yesterday and I am free of cancer. Only 2 more treatments to go but I will have to continue with my holistic suppliments for 2 years. We now have 2 wonderful organizations helping us and that is TheMagicBulletFund and IMom. As soon as the computer is working Mom will work on getting links up.
In the meantime I am now the poster child for TheFund and and we were written up in the NY Daily News last Saturday. Here is the link if you would like to see. The Fund has been incredible in helping me to be able to get the care I need and I feel so priviledged to have met Laurie its founder.

A day at the Beach
Saturday we went to my holistic vet. Wow!!!!! Mommy dressed me up like the Easter Bunny and I got so much attention. Then Dr. Wen even took my picture and got a real chuckle from me being the ham I am. After mommy and Auntie Jeannie took me for a little jaunt on the beach. Woof!!!!! do I love the beach and my legs did not get as tired hopping on the sand as they do on the concrete sidewalks. I wanted to go into the ocean but Mommy pulled me away cause the water is still way to cold. She promised me though....I will get to go swimming at the doggy physical therapy place when we have some money.
We are asking Auntie to post my Easter Bunny pictures and the ones from the beach. Take a look
