Ginger's unusual hours

***written from the perspective of Ginger the puppy*****

So there they are sleeping away..my humans that is. They are even making funny noises. I start to wimper and my mom wimpers back. Then I sneak away from next to her and climb on my dads head...nothing.... so I run back to mom and start really laying it on thick..still nothing... geez what does it take to get some play time around here??? The sun JUST came out..who needs to sleep at an exciting time like this.. I know that mom and dad JUST recently went to bed because they kept trying to play with me at strange hours of the night while they were watching tv..geez..can't a puppy get some rest?!?! so now I am rested and they aren't. HAH I'll teach them! So I start giving mom some of my kisses that she loves so much.... right on the face... and IT WORKS!! she gets up and says something strange like please let me sleep.. Come on!!!! The sun is up nobody sleeps after dawn! so she picks me up and takes me outside..and says the magic words "Go Potty Ginger" It's ON!!!! I dropped to the ground like a bird digging for worms...ahhhhh did that feel good.. then she picks me up and takes me back inside... BUT WAIT! I wimper as firmly as I can. MOM I AM NOT DONE.. So outside we go again. This time I run to the nice thick soft grass...and well you can imagine. So NOW i am ready to go back inside.. but not what she's thinking. No more sleepy time right now. So she feeds me and thats great but I'm all alone my friends are still sleeping.. So I go to the door of the room we sleep in and wimper until she opens the door and out comes my bestest friend MR. FRED. Now it's REALLY play time.......and it's only 7:30am..
