My name is Sierra. My middle name is Lynn, after my Daddy, so Mom and Dad call me Sierralynn. I have to mention that my profile picture was taken at the Super Pet Expo a couple of years ago.. and to my Mommy's dismay, I don't think there will ever be another one that good. Mommy and Daddy found me at the SPCA. I was there with my 2 brothers. Supposedly, my birth mother was a boxer/rot mix. Obviously my birth father was a black lab, and apparently I take after my birth father in looks and tempermant. My doctor says that I could pass for purebred.
When Mommy brought me home I was pretty sick, but I stuck in there like a litte trooper. Daddy took me for a walk all around our land (we have 2 acres) and showed me everything. I had a nice new bed, and some toys that were just for me. Well, turns out I was a pretty sick pup..apparently I had a reaction to the vacine for the Parvovirus. Mommy cried. (I was so sick that I could have died). But Mommy and Daddy picked up on me being sick and got me to the hospital in time and the doctors at the hospital took really good care of me. I got to go home after 3 days and I rode in Daddy's truck for the very first time. Man, his truck was so huge back then, but I guess that's because I was so small. I was still kind of tuckered out from the hospital so I rested. Daddy laid right on the floor with me. So, that's my story of how I came to be me...

Favorite Walk: Up and down my street. Checking out the neighborhood.
Favorite Bathroom Spot: Let's see-- unless Mommy has been out there... if you visit... watch out for the landmines.
Favorite Food/Treats: My 2 bestest treats are Puppy Ice Cream and Greenies. My Mommy makes the bestest puppy icecream in the world. And I like sugar free popsicles. Sometimes Mommy shares with me.
Favorite Toy: I have lots of toys. My favorite right now is my big green chew bone.
Tricks: High Five, Shake Right, Shake Left, Pittiful Puppy, I can crawl, Head Down. I take notes to Mommy & Daddy and I help Daddy carry his coffee mug to the kitchen every night & I bring Mommy my Kong Ball to wash everyday when she gets home from work.
Pet Peeves: Fireworks and the Monster in the closet (aka vacuum). Other than that, I'm pretty easy going.

Hi Sierra... Whatcha doing for the 4th? I haven't read your Fire Cracker blog yet. That's next on my schedule. I'm going to a parade! I don't know what a parade is, I've nevr been to one, but I'm sure it will be fun. I'm still up to the same ol', same ol'....day camp, Diva school. Hi Sierra. How was your day? We had an unusual happening. We were napping peacefully in our mom's office when something caught our eye in the courtyard (we must nap with one eye open cause we manage to see things even when asleep). It was a baby duck waddling around. It had a big yellow beak and downy looking feathers that were mostly white with some brown flecks.
What was a duck doing on our turf? We immediately started jumping up and down and barking. The duck didn't speed up or fly away or anything - it just kept going towards the back yard at a leisurely pace. So Mommy went to the bedroom and opened the drapes. We all looked out in time to see the duck squeeze itself very low to the ground and go UNDER our fence.
We were not pleased that we could not go out and deal with the duck ourselves. I (Zack) wanted to chase it away. I (Quincy) wanted to meet a real duck and see if it was like my stuffed ducks. Anyway, it was very exciting.
