The cows are loose...
OM Goodness... all the cows from the farm behind us are out. Somebody left the gate open AND the horses are loose too. At least now Mommy knows what all the fussing was about. Nobody is home back there so the lady up the road called animal control. Mommy closed the door so I can't look out. Man I wanted to see. Oh well. We're having another girls night tonight. Daddy's truck is acting up so he went back to Uncle John's. He didn't want to try to haul the boat home if the truck was acting up so it's just us girls again tonight us girls and a JAWS marathon on TV. She's like a little kid. She says JAWS is her favorite movie. So I just got a puppy ice cream and a greenie bone and I even got some french fries. I wonder what else I can get.. maybe a popsicle.

What is your favorite toy? Probably my chewy bone, and my kong wubba at the moment.
What is your favorite store? Petsmart and Tractor Supply and I like Rankin's hardware, and sometimes Home Depot.
How many toys do you have? I'm not quite sure that I can count that much, I'm only 5.
What brand of food do you eat? Nutro Max,
Wet or dry? Both. I get just enought wet to make it gooey
What is your favorite color? Green for the grass, I love to roll in it.
Are you bad when nobody's looking? Sometimes, I get into the waste basket under Mommy's desk
Are you friendly? Oh my gosh yes. I haven't met anyone I don't like.
Are you overweight? No. My Doctor says I'm at a perfect weight. I stay within a 4 lb range of 80 lbs.
Do you eat people food? Not much. I do get carrots and apple sometimes, and Sugar Free Popsicles.
Do you eat bugs? Guilty. and one of these days I'm gonna catch me a fly out in the garage. Those little boogers drive me nuts.
Do you live with other animals? Well, I have some pet fish.
We useted to have a hamster but he went to hamster heaven a couple of years ago.
Do you like to exercise? I love to run. I sometimes go nuts when I run. I used to do laps around the dining room table, but now there is a wood floor and I hate it.. no traction.
Do you like car rides? Does a bear poop in the woods? (Ditto!) I love to go for a ride in the car. I like Mommy's car better than Daddy's truck cuz I can get my head out the window.
Do you get into stuff? Not really. Sometimes I snatch something off a table or sometimes a cheese wrapper out of the big trash can in the kitchen.
Do you like to swim? I LOVE to swim. Mommy takes me to Aunt Terry's cuz they have a lake in the back and when summer is over, they open the swimming pool just for doggies.
What is your favorite treat? Puppy ice cream and greenie bones and a kong with peanut butter
Do you shed? Yep.. Mommy can stuff a sofa when she vacumns.
What's the funniest thing you ever did? Oh, well, several things actually, but what comes to mind is just last week I was outside in the hosta's under the deck digging and Mommy told me to stop, so I crouched down like I was hiding, and Mommy said, I still see you, so I re adjusted myself to hide better and she still saw me.
What's the bravest thing you ever did? I waked Daddy up one time when Mommy's needed some help cuz her blood sugar was going low.

Collar or harness? Collar always, and Gentle Leader when we go out. (I'm a puller)

Ceramic, Metal or Plastic bowls? My regular bowls are metal and I have a plastic one on the deck and a plastic one downstairs and another metal one out in the garage. (I have bowls everywhere.. I even have one in Mommy's car and one in Daddy's truck)
Do you sleep in a crate? Not anymore. I did when I was a baby and then I made myself a fort under a table and stopped going into my crate so Mommy put it away.
Do you have a dog bed? I have one upstairs in Mommy and Daddy's room, I have a bumble ball in the basement and I have a bed in the garage.
Do you have a doghouse? No, I’m an inside dog.
I gots a secret.....
Me and Mommy got a secret on Daddy. Mommy is taking some medicine that makes her tummy sick, so when she got off work yesterday, she laid on her bed and I got to get up there and lay with her. I'm not allowed to get up on the furniture or on the bed, but Mommy told me it was ok so I did. We took a 2 hour nap. Wow. It was comfy. Mommy told me that I had to keep it a secret just between us girls cuz if we told Daddy then we'd get cooties and I don't want cooties so I'm not telling. Mom's are pretty cool sometimes doncha think?
Eyes in the front or the back...
So, I had a squeeky toy. It was a big Jack, like when you play jacks with a rubber ball. (that's what Mom told me anyhow)-- so each end has a squeeker in it. Hum.. interesting. Well, I worked fiercely to to get that darn squeeker out when all of a sudden the front eyes turn to me so I drop the jack and grab another other toy that was laying there. (mind you, the squeeker is still in my mouth).. I wanted it and I was gonna have it. Well, couple of issues here. The first one being that the other toy I grabbed was not a stuffing toy... and then there was the issue of the end of the jack being wet and there was stuffing laying there but most importantly I hadn't broke the squeek part yet. I squeeked, and I held on as tight as i could. Unfortunately there was a little part sticking out of my teeth and it was showing. I thought I'd get away with it.. nope.. I got caught. I think that Mommy's and Daddy's do have eyes in the back of their heads....
..and I had Fun, Fun,Fun.....
Just gotta tell everyone how much fun I had yesternight. Me and Mommy and Daddy went to Aunt Terry and Uncle Rob's house.. this is where I go to go swimming. I went swimming with Meagan and Courtney. I had supper over there too. I showed Daddy how I swim and go get the toy and jump off the dock. Well, then Mommy and Daddy ate supper over there too and when we all went inside.. I don't think Cotton likes me too much. See, me and Cotton have never met all by ourselves. Mommy and Aunt Terry were worried about me and dakota cuz us girls are the alphas.. well, me and dakota got along just fine. me and mac used to not get along so good, but we got along just fine too and of course, me and panda are buds. Cotton had to stay in the other room, which she really didn't mind I don't guess... that room is where her closet is, where she ususally hides. I kinda felt bad. Maybe Mommy and Aunt Terry can let just us meet without everyone else. I think that's what happened.. I think Cotton was nervous cuz she and I have never "met"- just us... we've only met in a pack situation. oh yeah.. you know what the best part was... Panda, Cotton, Mac and Dakota they all make a mess when they eat.. they spill food all the time, all over the place and I just happened to come along at the perfect time. Aunt Terry let me clean up her kitchen floor.. hahahaha.. yummmmmyyyyy. She told me thank you... since I cleaned it up, she didn't have too... but anyways, I had a really good time. I hope to go back over today after Mommy mows the grass.
bout my yester blog...
I'm not trained to notice this kinds of stuff, but I have before. One time it happened in the middle of the night and I knowed something was wrong and I waked up Daddy. I also help Mommy when Uncle Charlie is here, cuz he gets out of bed all the time in the middle of the night and he also gets into the kitchen when he's not opposed to and I tattle on him... Mommy always tells me what a good helper I am and how proud she is of me. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside when she tells me.
Yester thursdaay...
Well, I was gonna write about this yesternight, but then then Greatest Dog came on and well Mommy shut off the puter so I couldn't do it, but anyways, I had a rough day yesterday. Mommy worked at home. I like when Mommy works at home, cuz hers usly fixes me an egg and puppy bacon for breakfast. YUMMMMMY! and she did.. and it was good. Hers was having trouble with the puter(s) yes, she had 2 puters on trying to figure it all out. anyhow I guess she fixed it.. but the big thing was she was telling me that I had to be a good girl and be quiet because she was going to have a conference call. What ever that means.. and she mumbled something about wishing for a mute button.. ?? again, not a clue... so when the phone ringed, hers sat in her chair and she was talking and keeped saying "I don't know", "I don't know." Well she didn't sound normal to me and she was sweating..(like a little piggy)--I don't know what that means either, but I've heard her say it... so anyway I knowed something was wrong so I just sat like a good girl, like Mommy said while she was on the phone.. and then finally the ambulance came. Well, what happened was that Mommy had a low blood sugar and she got all goofy and one of her friends at work who was on the conference call, figured it out immediately and called the rescue squad on her. By the time they got here, Mommy was doing lots better. The conference call peoples keeped talking to her on the phone and I keeped watch on my side. We had gone upstairs and we were making a sandwich to eat and Mommy drank one of Daddy's gatorades..Apparently I was a really good girl when the rescue squad got here. I didn't even jump on them. Mommy said she was very proud of me. See, I just love when peoples comes to visit ME and I get so excited that I ALWAYS jump on them... but I didn't. I did try to play tunnel with the rescue man though..so everything turned out good and Aunt Terry even came over and stayed for a long time with us. I think her should have brought Panda to playwith me, but she didn't. Aunt Terry gave me a popsicle and Mommy made a movie of it. She said she would put it on my site later on. I might get to go over and go swimming with Panda after work today. It's posed to be really hot here today.
It's not over yet....
Well, the main firecracker day has gone by, but it still ain't over. I really don't like it when these hoomans set off firecrackers. They really mess with my sniffing and potty time. You should have seen Mommy trying to bribe me last night...it was actually quite comical...but it didn't work. I didn't even fall for the keys rattling.. I spend the weekend with Miss Sandy and her crew. All together there were 42 of us.. but only a few of us, us quiet ones and behaved ones got to stay up in the house. I met a new little buddy Pete.. he's a baby golden.. I'm glad he went home before I did.. I think Mommy would have taken him and left me.. (that's what she said, but I don't believe her). I have lots of fun at the sitter, but I sure am glad when I get to come home and have my own stuff, and my own bed and my own toys that I don't have to share... Oh yeah.. speaking of...Note to self: Make a note on the kitchen counter for Mommy to get me a Kong Wubba. This is my new favorite toy that I discovered at the babysitter.
Happy Fire Cracker Day...
Man, I hopes you alls have a really nice Fire Cracker Day, night, weekend. I'm going to the babysitter tonight..and it's gonna be nice and quite and I can play with some friends cuz Mommy and Daddy are going to Nana and Papaw's where there will be lots of fire crackers. I'm waiting for Mommy to help me pack up some stuff. I have a few toys picked out that I wanna take, and of course my night night teddy. Well, I hope nobody gets to scared... my Dr said if I would get to scared, that I could have some benedryl..thought I'd pass that along in case anyone might be interested.
I'm a pooped out pup..
Me and Mommy went to Aunt Terry's yesternight when Mommy got off work and I went swimming in the lake with Meagan and Courtney. I had SO MUCH FUN! I'm pooped out, but I wanna go back over today and go swimmin' some more. I knew something good was coming cuz we got my life vest out of the garage before we went bye bye. I thought we were gonna go on the boat at first. Yes, she made me wear my life vest, (she's such a sissy butt)..I'd never admit it to her, but it really doesn't bother me, and it makes her happy so I do it. Panda got to come out and play with me for a while too, but Aunt Terry wouldn't let her off the leash. I was trying to put up a video and it won't work for some reason, but I'll keep trying. Hey, I just thought of something.. we HAVE to go back over to Aunt Terry's cuz my leash is over there... I think I'll go pack a bag of toys and treats so I'm ready... B A Y L
