My name is Shelby.  I was born on August 23, 2001 in Thurmont, Maryland along with my nine brothers and sisters.  Eight weeks later I met my human Mum and Dad and they took me to my new home in Frederick, Maryland.  I am their only "fur-child" which means I get lots and lots of attention!  We call ourselves "the three musketeers" because we do everything together.  My Dad is my best bud.  He takes care of me, plays with me, protects me and gives me lots of treats (when Mum is not looking).  My Mum is the one I spend all my time with.  She makes me feel better when I am scared or sick.  My Mum is also my business partner.  In 2008 I became a "doggie entrepenuer".  Me and my Mum started our own doggie greeting card company called Pawsitively Personal Greetings.  Mum said I was her inspiration.  I guess you can say I am the "spokes-doggie" for the company.  My face is on the front of every card but the cards are not about any particular breed, they are about the extraordinary relationship between dogs and humans.  My Mum writes all the cute sentiments and poems.  Some will make you chuckle and some will bring a tear to your eye.  Be sure to check out our website www.PawsitivelyPersonalGreetings.com.
