I'm a Shiloh Shepherd female dog. My formal, full name is "Dayspring's Spirit of Shakti", but everybody calles me SHAKTI. They say that Shiloh Shepherds have almost human intelligence and love learning new things...I constantly learn new things and I absolutely love it. I love new challenges and being rewarded for my hard work.
 
I am a pretty big girl (about 100 pounds) and I have a very gentle, calm and sweet temperament. We, Shiloh Shepherds are actually called "gentle giants"...
 
I was born on May 4th, 2005 at Dayspring Shilohs kennel in Tennessee and I am a full sister to Gandalf, an ISSR Shiloh Shepherd hero who found a boy scout in North Carolina during his very first search and rescue mission. As a very young puppy I was known as "Miss Purple".


 
I received my Canine Good Citizen title on November 18, 2006 when I was only 18 months old! I've been to a few obedience classes maily to reinforce my skills while having more distractions and to be able to socialize even more. I started my "education" in my puppy hood and I've been doing most of my training at home with my humans.

Favorite Walk: I love walking anywhere with my humans...I love going to the beach and going for a bike ride.

Favorite Toy: "Intelligent toys" (cubes with some objects inside to pull out and other interactive toys that make me think); frisbee, balls, squeeky toys; tug
