My name is Shadow. My owners adore me....I came in to the family when her old dog sandy passed about 6 years ago...they got me night she passed away. I made there day. I am a black lab and when I was a puppy my paws were hudge and my body was spall. Now i'm older and grown. I used to chew up shoes they tasted so yummy, but I was trained not to. My favorite treat is bread, I love it! I don't like to be alone when my owners leave they have to shut all the windows or i will jump out, I ended up on the roof once. I am deadly afraid of the nosy vacume and my dad one time put the vacume infront of the window thinking I won't jump out but I still did because I new my owner was out side in the backyard. When the house is being picked up I run upstairs and hide because i know that there going to run the vaume! I run when they say the word vacume, thats the truth, they pick on me sometimes ans say the word and I get scared. I am a lazy dog I love walks but i am still lazy. My owners let me out side to use the potty and im so well trained I never leave the yard, but there was one time I decided to sneak away wich was a bad decison, I'm just a dog what can I do and I went in the road and a car hit me. My owners heard me wining and the car never stopped they just left me there. I was rushed to the MSU Vet and they told me I was fine and for them to be the Michigan State University vet, they gave me a hudge complament they said that I had the best bone structure in a black lab that they ever say (and I told my owners I should be a show dog) I was brought to the vet often afterwords the have check ups. they told us that I had a vertabra out of place on my tail and I won't ever feel anything in my tail anymore or I might not wag anymore. They said if I chew on it they might take my tail right off, becuase since I couldnt feel it I would think its not suppose to be there. But I was luckly and I got to keep my tail its a little sideways but I can still wag it.  My owners are very happy I was fine! One of my Owners Toni she is my bestest friend I follow her around everywhere...well anyways she is getting worried since I'm six and labs ussualy last till the age of ten, she is worried that i only have 4 more years of life..but she hopes I live plenty more because she would cry and cry if I wasn't here anymore.
