Gotta have a lump removed.

Last night mommy was giving me my bedtime massage and she found a small lump on my side. She called the vet first thing this morning and brought me in for an exam. My doc doesn't know what it is, but she wants to remove it and have it tested. Man! That means needles and stitches and being away from mommy and home and my little brother and my bed! (Hey, a dog can whine can't he!?) Anyway, Mommy says she wants to be safe not sorry so she's bringing me back on Monday for my "procedure". The good thing is that Mommy will stay with me the whole time when I come home and lay on the sofa with me while my head is in her lap. This is my "recovery position". I'll stay there until my sleepy medicine is all gone and I feel like walking outside with mommy again. I'll let you know how it goes...but there had better be ice cream at the end of this ordeal!
