Greyhound Play Group!
Every month, my mom takes me to a big barn a little ways from my house to play with other greyhounds. We get to play outside OFF THE LEASH! I never get to do that! My mom is really excited about this weeks playgroup because she says a special group is going to be there. She calls them "Her Majesty's Hounds." She says their from the Renaissance Festival. I hope my mom doesn't forget to bring the camera, especially since dad isn't going with us this week. I can't wait!My Mom and Dad
I think my mom sees other doggies when she goes away from the house. When she comes back, I smells all kinds of dogs and other animals on her. Daddy calls her a 'pet-sitter.' That doesn't sound very pleasant. But when ever mommy 'pet-sits' I get to spend time with my daddy, and I really like that.
My mom told me that my dad didn't want me at first. But ever since I met him, I knew that he really liked me, even when we didn't know each other very well. He always pets me when I go up to him, and likes to play with me and rub my belly. Mommy always laughs and tells daddy "I know you won't admit it, but you love her, and she just adores you."
Yep! I love my daddy! I love my mom, too. When daddy isn't around, she gives me my favorite treat, White Cheddar Popcorn. She always takes a bite first, though, I think she eats the crunchy part and gives me the good part. And that's why I love my mommy.
