My name is Halle. My mom and dad brought me home in June, and life has been pretty good since then. I was really nervous at first -- I was the only dog in the house! But my mom and dad were very patient with me and showed me how to be a happy only-dog.
I go out on walks four times a day, and sometimes my mommy takes me to work with her - I love it at the go-kart track! There's tons of room to run around in the lobby, and I get a spot in the office where I can lay down on my bed and go to sleep while mommy is working.
I LOVE meeting other dogs. I made good friends with all the other dogs in the neighborhood, especially this little tiny yorkie who likes to play with my feet (That's all he can reach).
My life is very different now than it was at the track and kennel, but I like it here, and I hope I can stay here forever.

We're practically neighbors! Were you adopted through a Greyhound rescue? My mom might have met you - she volunteers with the Virginia German Shepherd rescue and sees lots of beautiful, sweet greyhounds at many rescue events. I'm so glad you found a good home! -- Coffee

Halle is precious! I LOVE the pic of her with her bunny! The fact that it is in tact is amazing b/c Sam would've "de-stuffed" it within minutes!
Sammy has a good buddy next door named Missy. She too is a rescued Greyhound and is mostly white with a little bit of tan here and there.
My daughter wants us to adopt a Greyhound from a rescue and I'd love to but one dog is all I can handle right now.
Halle is so lucky to have a loving home and a new "leash" on life! ;)
