Daddy has 4 legs!!!
Oh what a day it has been. Furs mommy and daddy are yuf directions at their church (we love all our yufs!!!). Dey had a Mother's Day brunch (we tink dat means food) today sponsored by da yuf and dey getted up early and gone to cook and set up for all dem mommies in da (our) church. Afer dat was dun dey came home and Daddy started mowing da grass. Well mommy didn't hear da mower and she went out to check...she didn't see Daddy. She came back in and finked someting is wong and went wight back out. Our Daddy was laying on da gwound and the mower was in da ditch. Something happened to his leg. She got him in and asked him whut happent. It wasn't breaked but it was puffin up. She called our Uncle Tim (not really our uncle but we love him) and he came over to help get da mower out of da ditch. Daddy said he thought somefing hit him in his calf and when he looked down he drove into da ditch. He couldn't walk on it so mommy took him to the weekend clinic. Den mommy got really scared...they sent him to the ER because they finked he might hasda blood clot. They wanted to do an ultrasound (we don't know what dat is). Fank goodness it wasn't a blood clot but a torn calf muscle. It just happent. No warning or nufin. They gave Daddy two more legs cuz one of his don't work right now. dey're funny looking ... dey're silver and dey come out from under his arms. He don't walk so good on dem and mommy laughs at him. She's laughing now...she told us we had to be good and not jump on daddy's leg. He's gonna hafta have pisical ferapy and she just cried and cried. She was so worried and she said we couldn't tell Daddy cuz she didn't want Daddy to know she was crying but she said dey was happy tears cuz it wasn't a blood cott ,and she said if anybody runs out of stuff to pray about dey can always pray for Daddy cuz it could take up to 8 weeks for this to heal. She wants to wish all our pals mommies a Happy Furbaby Mothers Day but she's taking care of Daddy and doesn't have time to send out one to everybody right now each one by demselfs...so she says please everybody accept this one from us with lots of love to all our fwiends mommies and especially our mommy. She letted us wite dis cuz she was busy.

Oh my gosh what a scarey thing to happen... Glad to hear that he is on the mend that it isn't a blood cott... You just sit on him if he tries to get up cause iam sure he is suppose to be off his feet as much as possible...Take good care of him..... Tucker

Holy Dane Muffins, that was a scary day wasn't it? Well we are happy your dad is better, and it is not a blood clot. Torn muscles are no picnic either. But, those legs, they sound kinda funny. I know Muff's dad gave her steel legs, but they had wheels on them, she was one lucky pup, she could get around pretty good on them.

Oh, dear! We are soooo glad your daddy is okay! Mowers can be scary and do bad things, so your daddy is lucky. We are so happy that it wasn't a blood clot so here's a funny bunny to make your daddy laugh and he's got flowers for him too!

Oh girls..we are so sorry to hear this...but Thank God..it's just a torn calf muscle...that will heal...you girls have to be super nice to dad now!

Prayers for your daddy. You must have been scared when mommy couldn't find daddy. Our mommy and daddy did yard work yesterday also and the worst thing to happen was the mower belt broke before the he was done. Happy mother's day to your mommy. Wags and licks to you.
