Hey guys this week Mom has VBS (Vacation Bible School) and our cousin Taylor is here for the week visiting so she can attend. Sooooo…we won’t be on a whole lot but mom says she will do her best to answer all the barks we get. We don’t like this at all but mom says VBS is very important so we know that we just have to be patient. We’ll check in as often as we can so please don’t forget us!

Dog Days of Summer
Listen up…Starting tomorrow through August 11th it’s the Dog Days of Summer. Now we really aren’t sure what that means but we think we are supposed to get special treats and toys, extra belly rubs and scratches, carried around on special pillows and treated like royalty every single day through August 11. Well, we think we should get that anyway but we’re pretty sure our parents HAVE to do it now!

TO ALL PIT HATERS!
I’ve received word that one of our furends won’t be accepted as a pal by someone because he is a Pit. How stupid are some of you? I don’t own a Pit…never have…so I don’t claim to be an expert, but I do know enough about dogs that … a dog, NO MATTER THE BREED .. is what it’s owner makes it. Some believe aggression is genetic…maybe it is, I don’t know but I do know that whatever the breed…a dog can be vicious. Heck, My peke-a-poo…Chi-Chi is more aggressive than most pit bulls. We believe love makes ALL the difference. There are probably more pits abandoned and discarded and killed every year simply because of their bad rep. THERE ARE NO BAD DOGS! JUST BAD OWNERS…and now we are very upset. If our furend leaves MDS because of this…we may just be right behind him! Get a grip people…I’m not sure who this “person” (for lack of a better term) is but please do not add me to your list of furends and if you are already my furend and I don’t know it…I will delete you when I find out!
There also needs to be on this list…how many people die each year because of another “humans” stupidity, anger and aggression. That’s who we would definitely want banned! Something else our mommy always says is STUPID PEOPLE SHOULDN’T BREED. Too bad we can’t get some humans spayed and neutered!

Ok..really now! NO BODY wants to send their mom or dad to Dr. Phil?
Ok we’ve decided to send our mom to Dr. Phil.
We’re hoping he’ll do a show about doggie moms that are just plain nuts! Ours hasn’t done anything outside of her normal craziness lately but we’ve noticed that maybe some of our pals moms need help too! Like ZQ’s mom…not letting them swim and THEN GIVING THEM A BATH! Banjo’s mom scolding him for helping her in the garden with her tomatoes….He said he didn’t waste any…he ate what he picked. We just don’t understand our mom sometimes and it sounds like some of our furends are having that same problem. So if you would like to book your mom a ticket on the crazy train to Dr. Phil just post us a bark! Let us know what crazy stunt she (or dad) have pulled. Maybe if we all get together they’ll be outnumbered and have to go!

Yay Swimming
Ooops mommy said our pics were under the “more of us” profile..It’s in the more of us photo album…she changed the main picture so every one could find them.
We went swimming today. Mom posted some pictures of us. It was great! Well Sable wasn’t too crazy about it…but I loved it. Then I ran laps around the deck. Our pictures are under the “more of us” profile on our page.

Oh NO the VET
Update…we SURVIVED THE V-E-T. It was kinda stressful. We just don’t like that place. Mom thinks somebody was not very nice to us when she had to leave us one time because we didn’t use to get so stressed out. She says she’s going to look for another vet. We were good girls when they sticked us though. Sable had a bad reaction this time. That’s never happened before. She frowed up many many times after we got home and was breathing very hard…but she got better later in the evening and is back to herself today. And the vet said that light does shine straight through on me (Chi)...hahahah they think they’re soooooo funny!

We just heard mom tell dad that today is V E T day. She thinks we don’t know what that means but we do. It means we’re gonna get some nasty goop squirted down our throats, shots and something stuck in a place where stuff comes out not in. Mom says it’s just so we stay healthy…not because there’s anything wrong. NOTHING WRONG! How would she like someone sticking their fingers, well you guys know where they stick them, and squeezing. How would she like getting sticked with sharp pointy things and yucky junk squirted down her throat. NOTHING WRONG….she needs serious counseling! We found this picture to show her…no need to go to the vet cuz there is nothing in there…but she still won’t listen! Well we’ll be back later…hopefully!
