Our family decided to go to the Grand Opening of PetCo. I walked in and looked around for a new home for my step-son's gerbil, Merlin. After browsing around for awhile, I started towards the "rat race" going on in the corner of the store. I was crossing in front of an adoption area and looked down. I love dogs and I haven't had one of my own since I was little. They had all kinds of cuties but my eyes rested on only one...Big Moe! He was adorable. dark, wiry hair and big dark brown eyes that just melted my heart. I sat with him for a minute and he put the show on big time! He laid in my lap, left me shake his paw the left one only) and then with the other, he "gave me a low five". This dog is sweet natured but territorial. He's loyal but free-spirited. He's simply my best friend. He comforts me unconditionally and is ready to go on walks with me everyday! He motivates me.
