My mommy found me through an ad in a local paper. She had waited many years to have another German Shephard companion, and was SOOO excited to meet me.  When she arrived at the breeder's home she was stricken with how dirty and dump-like my home was. She was nervous to not know much about my parents, but she couldn't leave me there in those conditions. I rode to my forever home on my mommy's lap when I was only 6 weeks old. I grew (and continue to grow) quickly, and since I go everywhere with my mommy, I get to hear how gorgeous I am several times a day! 

     I go to puppy obedience classes every week, and my mommy takes me for long hikes and walks. My favorite thing to do is to play with my big sister Jazz. Mommy says Jazz is a Rottweiler, and that I have to learn to give her some space sometimes. She is a wonderful big sister.  I also have a human brother named Braydon. He is 5 years old and loves to play with me too.  Someday I'll be huge, but I have a great personality. My mommy says that she is going to teach me to work with sick and elderly people in hospitals, because she knows how much it cheers people up to have a pup visit.

     My name is Jazz and my forever Mommy and Daddy adopted me from a rescue in Montreal Canada.  I was a year old and had only lived in a tiny apartment and had to stay in my kennel all the time or I'd be attacked by my old family's older dog. They surrendered me to a shelter and when I was going to be euthanized a nice woman who did all-breed rescue brought me to her home.  My forever Mommy showed up to rescue a small German Shepherd, but when she heard my story she decided I was the one who would become part of their family. 

     I was an only child until June of 2008, when Mommy brought home a very spoiled German Shep puppy.  I like to play with him, but sometimes I just like to be alone with my parents.  I get to go everywhere with my Mommy, and we used to jog 5 miles a day.... but since I got Lyme Disease, running isn't as easy for me anymore.  I love to go for rides in the car and playing ball with my Daddy.  I really am a daddy's girl.
